I think camping is a good way to spend your vacation with your kids. When I was little, each year my dad packed us in his wagon and drove to the camp site. My mom would prepared food for us. my dad loved fishing, sometime he brought fish sometimes not. But, I always had good memories about our camping days.
Camping is cheap and is a excellent way to tie a bond with your kids. What do you think?

camping is a great way for a family to spend a vacation! we used to do a ton when i was growing up, but now that i have kids, i find it too hard to do that sort of stuff (i am currently disabled) but we still spend the whole day at the beach quite a bit over the summer (we have a free pass to get into conservation areas in our area) and sometimes we even take the canoe (but thats getting harder for me to do too).

I love camping and took my kids when they were growing up...it was so much fun. Anything outdoors to me is a good time! Somehow the food tastes better....you sleep much better and actually get more exercise then with any other vacation!

Camping is cheap and can be fun. I also think it can be a nice little romantic getaway for couples if both can stand being outside for a few days. I know we only paid about $30 to go camping for a few days and then we only spent a bit of money on food. Since we could find firewood at the campsite, we didn't have to pay for it and my partner brought some along as well.
It can be fun if you have plenty of activities to do and many campsites have so many things that kids can get into, you do not need to worry about them not having things to do. Some places have swimming pools, you can go fishing if you have a license and many have rivers that you can swim in or wade in.

We just bought a travel trailer last year so we could go camping with our kids this summer and save on the vacation money. It can be alot cheaper than a regular vacation, but it can also be just as expensive. I would cook and then the kids would want to go to the kitchen and order wings or something. There was also a bar where we camp, so we spent some money that way too. It is cheap to stay and very good for family memories.

Oh!! I really love camping so with kids. they want to sleep outdoors in a tent. There are that we go out as a family to camp but this activity is very seldom not like others they go on camping almost every month. Well, though I love to, but our time would not permit us to do so. Camping in the woods is nice much more if the camp site in near the river? Oh!1 wow, we can have swimming with the kids too. They love it.

I enjoy camping, actually I was grown the first time I went camping. When I met my husband he introduced me to camping. I was skeptical, and didn't think I would like it, but I did. We used to go several times a year. I haven't been camping now for about four years. I miss it, hopefully we will be able to go next year.
We took our five year old God son with us one year, he had a great time. We got him his own little private tent. At first we didn't think he would stay in there by hisself at night, but he did with no problems.

I love camping. It is cheap and easy. The best part is that there are no distractions so you just get family time. There is no TV or video games to zone out in front of. We get out there and make our own fun. I love love love it.

I used to love camping. I notice now though prices for camping in a park are going up and...so many people dont "camp" anymore they take these huge campers with tvs and power and satellite. Its like living in a cabin not roughing it.
I like taking my tent out and sleeping in it in the smaller private campgrounds and leaving the big pricy ones to all the rest of the people.

It's true that the price is going up, but compare to hotels and motels camping is much cheaper and much fun. Last labor I went camping with my best friend at DL Blis Statepark. It's fantastic. We camp by the beach. I like to sleep in my tent more. Maybe in my previous life I was a nomad, maybe Mogolians. *Smile*
