I bought white photo albums to put all my travel photos into. Then I stuck a postcard on to show the location. Next I typed labels for the spines and did this in fancy writing. My other photos I have in albums with a cat or a dog on the front. I have a few boxes of photos that I should put into albums or store in a different way. Where do you keep your photos? Why?

We have albums and boxes. There are picture boxes. I put them boxes because often times the albums pages stick to the pictures. I can look at the pictures just as well in the boxes and we have so many picturs that I could never put them all in an album.

I have original photo albums. Besides, I have burned many DVDs to store our photos. I also upload my digital photos to the online photo album. I like to keep our photos in different ways, so that it's not likely to lose them if there will be any accidents. I love China

I keep most of mine stored on my pc but then also have a travel wall where any photos of work trips or special trips I place a printed one in the large frame - it is filling up quite nicely now! x

Mostly on my computer. Occasionally I get some of the photos printed and store them in an album. My mom prefers the hard copy ...

I used to have loads of photo albums but what with moving and the bulk of them I have to admit I got rid of most of them, I have just one photo album now of me as I have grown up, including a beautiful picture of me when I was four and had blond hair! A lot of my holiday pictures like when I went to Scotland for 5 weeks and Rhodes are on my computer, I should really back them up just in case but the originals are still on my digicam! I don't use it very often, just as well. But most of the pictures I have stored in my head to remember and recall.

Normally I would say in photo albums but at this time some are in photo albums, some in boxes and alot are in my computer! I used to have them all organized but with 7 kids they were all taken out at one time or another so I am now in the process of seperating them and putting them back, no small feat! I have 1 done starting from when my hubby and I met when he was 15 and I was 16, our baby pics, to our the first born. Im working on the next one now. Im wondering if now just putting in boxes would be easier!

I used to develop all my pictures and keep them in albums. Like you I tend to get albums that gave me an idea of what kind of pictures were inside, so I had albums with cartoons or babies for the kid's pictures. Albums with a landscape cover for vacations or traveling, etc. I still have those, but now I keep my photos mostly on disk and I only print the ones that I want for some special reason. Even the photos I have in albums have been scanned and are on disk as well. Some I make slide shows with, specially when I want to send them to my family. Some are just in folders with the name and date so I know what is what.

I'm really cross with myself since we had a digital camera, as I tend to have a look at them on the computer, send a few to friends and family and then don't get around to printing them out! It's so nice to sit down and have a look through albums when the family visits, so I must get around to printing them off. One of my daughters does beautiful scrapbook pages for special occasions, so I'll have to get her to make some up for me next time she's visiting.

Previously we had a album for keeping all our photos, but from the time we got Digicams all the photos are in the computer as a soft copy no more hard copies.I feel that arranging the photos in the album will be looking good than seeing them in the computers.Thank You

i have always been a person who is very organised. My photos were always kept in photo album, the simplest will be the album which we brought home from the photoshop. But now, after having kids, i am not that organise anymore. The photos seems to be everywhere... Some in the tv cabinet, some at my books shelf, some are still in the old albums. I have to start with my photo keeping again but i am too occupied with my children that i just couldnot find time to do it. Actually i can do it while i babysit my kids but i just hate it when they start to disturb what i am doing. I love doing it during some peaceful time without anyone bothering me.. in the end.. the photos are still everywhere... ;)

I have one photoalbum with my childhood photos. I have a scrapbook with photos and other stuff from my year as an exchangestudent. All my others photos are in albums - chronologically. I like it best that way. I have a few photos of kids framed. I also have a box with old photos that I rescued while helping clean out my grandparents belongings, and my Moms aunts. Some are in albums and some are framed. When I move to our farm I have planned to put all the old framed ones up on the walls. I think they deserve to be seen and remembered all those that lived before me. I hope someone will do that for me when I go too.

The photos that mean the most to me are either in a frame or a photo album. We have alot stored on disk. As well as on the computers. I even have an airtight storage bin under our bed with photos in it.

I keep all my photos in digital format. I store them on external harddrives- both the original versions and edited versions. And sometimes I back them up on CDs and DVDs. I also store my photos in multiple online galleries. This is mostly so that I can share them with others, but it also serves as a backup personal storage as well!

Sadly my photos (new ones) are on the computer and/or on disk! There is never time nor money to print them all out. The photos I took from before I got married are in albums which are stored in the cupboard. Violetdreams
