Robbed On Your Birthday: What's Your Worst Day?

Oh my gosh. i hate to hear that. We have been burglarised before and they stole alot of things from us back in 1998. They even stole my dog at the time that was just like the one pictured in my avatar. I have another dog like him now though. We have also had our storage unit robbed twice too and they took everything back then also. I am so sorry for you and your son. I hope your insurance will cover it.

The absolute worst day I have ever had in my entire life was the day my infant son passed away. I do not wish this kind of pain on even my worst of enemies. I hope that somehow you are able to get you son's new bike back. I am sure that as bad of a day as this was for all of you, when he gets older and looks back on that day, he will be glad that he at least had you there. Good luck to you.

I am so sorry to hear that my friend. To get robbed on your son's birthday was very bad luck indeed. I hope that the police will catch the thief. Your son must feel so sad that some criminal has gone off with his bike. My worst day was in 2006 when I was in the Maldives. I was walking along a lonely beach and I got attacked. Luckily I got away from the nasty man that hurt me. My mum's house got robbed once and the thief took some of my best jewelry. Good luck my friend. I hope that the police find your son's bike.

Hello gtargirl. I am so sorry that your son's birthday bike got robbed. It is really so annoying to have something stolen. One of my worst days was when my wallet was stolen at the local bus station when I left my shoulder-bag for about two minutes only. Another time was when my cell phone was stolen away when I paid a visit to a local scenic spot. I was so upset for this. I have learned to be more careful not to get any other loss. Omg that's awful I'm sorry to read that, Iv had some really bad days before but none like that.

i've had bad days but nothing compard to your son's worst day it's just awful i can't believe people did that to a child even if it wasn't a birthday gift they still shouldn't steal it i am hoping they catch them and your son can have his bike back undamaged i have never had anyone steal anything from me aside from my email address that they use to send spam emails i don't have much money and so i am always careful with my belongings but i have a couple of times lent money to people and when I needed it they were gone

Oh man! That can certainly ruin the day!!!! I don't know if this happens to everyone but in my personal experience a lot of the not so good things happening usually happen around special days like birthdays etc. My birthday was two weeks ago and it wasn't that great either. My daughter took us out for dinner, and before we were even finished we had to leave to take my son to the hospital. I didn't even notice the cake she has bought for me until 2 days after! Grrrrr Here's to better days :)

Oh that is so sad to know. I think that was the worst because its his day and he got robbed oh my God. I remember my worst day ever was when I was resigned on my job and I was holdaped along the street. The man took all my money together with my cards and i felt weak. I can stand. I reported the incident to the police and unfortunately nothing happens. That is my worst day and I keep asking why me? I can still remember that day and I think I will never forget that.

Oh how terrible, I am so sorry. Is there a possiblity of getting his bike back? Do you have any idea who did it? Maybe a neighborhood kid or a prank of some sort..I feel bad for your son, that is really a bad thing to happen..

My worst day ever would be some eleven years ago. I remember it was one day in december. My dad was rushed to the hospital for hypertension and at the same day my boyfriend whom i love so much decided to break up with me. It was hell because i really needed him with me for moral support. I can still remember details from that day. I guess it's that traumatic. I just wish history doesnt repeat itself.
