Can you ever eat too much spaghetti?

I think it is entirely possible to eat too much spaghetti. My favorite is angel hair pasta with Bolognese sauce. I like it so much better than spaghetti or even thing spaghetti.

I never eat pasta unless it is Dreamfield's low carb pasta, but even that is rare. Pasta is a starch and turns into sugar, so yes, you can eat too much. I eat lasagna, but use vegatables as layers instead of pasta, now THAT is good food!

That's odd. How can you not like the taste of spagetti but still like other pastas? Don't they all taste very similar? Perhaps it is something in the sauce that you have gone off, and if you could work out what it was you could omit it and enjoy spagetti again. I'm a big pasta fan and in our house we would be happy to eat pasta every night of the week. I think my favourite would be pasta with a freshly made cheese sauce and some veggies. We have wild mushrooms growing at the moment though, and they make a fabulous pasta sauce too. I couldn't eat it every night though as all the butter and cream we add is too rich to eat masses of. It's good as a special treat too, and there's something about knowing that you've foraged for the mushrooms yourself that makes it extra special :-)

well at least you still love other pasta :) maybe you should try other types of spaghetti. i mean there are different types of spaghetti, spaghettoni, spaghettini made of different types of grains. try them. cook in different styles. who knows you still love spaghetti the way you used to :) i love spaghetti and pasta of all sorts. mac n cheese, carbonara sauce, tomato sauce, lasagna, in soups. yummy :)

I guess my favorite pasta would be lasagna, I do not make it that often, because my husband is not a great lover of it, and I do not want to have to eat a whole casserole by myself My husband loves thin spaghetti, he has it at least two times a week, he do not really care for red sauce, he likes clam sauce, actually I am fixing that for him now for when he gets home.

oh wow spaghetti haan yummy yummy spaghetti tastes very good i really like this dish especially with lots of mean in it and lots of meat balls to eat as side dish it makes the best combination i can eat lot of spaghetti if i get with my combination i had lot of spaghetti once it had lots of chicken and cheese

My husband replaced the regular Italian cheese in an alfredo ssauce with Danish Esrom. If you haven't had Danish esrom, I should warn you that it actually does smell like old gym socks left out to ripen. Although it smells like that, and makes the house smell like a locker room when you are cooking with it, the indescribable taste can't be beat. Oh, that sauce was good. We had it with little heart-shaped noodles on Valentine's Day.
