I am all wound up and won't be sleeping any time soon
I drove for two and half hours each way to take my mother in law to see legendary Neil Diamond. She is in a wheel chair. We had seats on the floor 14th row, center stage. The concert was phenomenal. On top of that, everyone was very nice to us and very helpful. Neil is about 70 now, I think and he can still do his thing. My mother in law was in her glory!! I am so happy for her. She has missed out on so much these past six months.
Ever been so wound up and so tired and so happy all at once?

Hey kathy! Is he really 70 now? OMG! I used to love him
too! Damn I'm old too! I'll bet he rocked the house!
(Well not actually rocked) you know what I mean, more
like a creeped the house? Did you like him? I think that
was so cool for you to take your MIL to see him! How did
he sound? I can't believe he is 70! But I guess if I'm
56 then hell he must be! How time flies! I'll bet he
can still sing too! He had a pleasant voice and some
nice ballads! I was more into rock, but I did like him
too! I'm glad that you enjoyed him! He was always a great
performer!

I'm a big rock fan too. I liked him too though. I had a wide variety of musical likes. I'll tell you, he was awesome. Still movin and groovin like back in the day. He did I am and I oculdn't believe he could still do it perfectly! He rocked the house with Sweet Caroline, the crowd was rockin I tell you! BTW That's mom's name! She was beaming. I was dancing. We had a blast.

Hi friend, i glad to hear that you are so filial to bring your mother in law to see the lengendary diamond, neil diamond. Its great that everyone was nice and help to you and your family. I guess its the satisfaction of bringing your mother in law to see the diamond that makes you tired and happy at the same time. I have experience this kind of feelings before, tired yet happy!

Hmm... I cannot remember being all tired, happy and wound up all at the same time.
It is most of the time happy and tired. Or wound up and tired.
It is good that you are able to bring your mum to the concert to enjoy herself.
Glad that she still has a filial daughter like you to take her there.
So, you enjoyed the concert as well? Did you manage to capture the concert on video?

Yes I've been that way, Gee Neil Diamond, how good is that. I've seen him on the TV not to long ago and his voice wasn't as strong but he put on a good show. Glad you were able to enjoy this with your family.

I am glad that I you are such an altruistic person that you went out of your way to make your mother in law helpful, at least for an evening to remember. Sometimes it is when giving that we receive.... happiness....© ronaldinu 2008

Hi redkathy. Glad to hear you had a good time seeing Neil Diamond. He's coming here to Jacksonville too. I won't be going to see him tho. It was nice of you to take your mother-in-law to see him. I'm sure she really appreciated it. I've been like that before, you're so tired but you don't want to go to bed because you know you'll lay there and think about everything that happened because you're excited.
Take care and happy lotting.

However the concert was great and mom just loved it. She had a smile that lasted all week!

The smile on her face was there through the entire show and that was enough thanks for me!
