wedding anniversary...how do you celebrate?

Hope you don't mind I am digging out the old discussion. This is the time for me to repay... I just have too many old discussions in my inbox right now that need to be cleared faster! I celebrated my last wedding anniversary at home with hubby and son. I cooked special menus for the day and bought two type of cakes - cheese cake (my favorite) and black forest (for hubby). I decorated the house and changed everything for the memorable day in our life. In fact, it looked more like a birthday party for my son Well, he was the one who really enjoyed the day! Both my husband and I bought a present for each other. We hid the gifts and the one who found first, got an extra bonus gift. Of course I got it! We really enjoyed the day cause I didn't manage to celebrate it with him a year before.

Yup having fun and enjoying how little you do really makes the difference Nhey. Sometimes we go for big thing, big surprises and expensive gifts but if the couple is not satisfied and happy together then those materialistic things and money can never buy you comtenment and happiness.:-)

I do believe I count Italianni's as one of the more expensive restaurants in town LOL Anyway, even if you decided to simply grab a snack from Jollibee, I think your whole family would have enjoyed the celebration just as well.

My parents celebrated their anniversary a week ago. I was at work and could not come home because of a company outing scheduled. Instead, I sent a spa date gift for them. I hope that they were able to enjoy it together:D
