Do you ever bathe the kids in the morning?

My daughter has put off her bath for 2 days. It's been colder, so I gave in. This morning with a little assistance from the hubby she is in the tub. I waited until after breakfast. When do you find it easiest? Is there ever an argument?

I bathe the kids at night time just before bed. . its part of their routine to get th em ready for bed.. this way they know whats coming.. bath, pj's hair and teeth brush one show on tv to wind down, and bedtime. bathtime is not an argument for us so far. . its bedtime that is the argument. no one ever wants to sleep.

baby having a bath - this is my baby son having a bath by his aunt, who takes good care of him. He seems to be enjoyable of the water in the plastic tub.
Hello ersmommy. My wife usually gives my baby son a bath in the plastic tub after lunch in the afternoon in the bedroom where we turn on the heater or air-conditioner in this cold weather. My baby loves to have a bath with his chest in the water and back upward. If he is washed with his chest facing the water, he is not happy and starts to cry. I wonder how come he likes this way. It is interesting though. So what about your baby while having a bath, please? Here is a photo of my son having a bath by his aunt. He is very enjoyable in the photo.

I usually just give my sister a bath in the evenings and then wash her up in the mornings, unless she falls asleep without one then she is bathed in the morning but since it is colder I always heat the bathroom up first and blow dry her hair for she won't get sick.

It depends on what's all been going on. SOmetimes it's easier in the mornings so they are looking their best & cleanest for the day. Though with winter setting in I don't want them running around with damp hair either. But in the evenings it's not too bad as they get more time to play in the tub and I don't have to argue bout them to get moving and get going KWIM? If they take a bath earlier they could get slopped up before morning & I may have to give them one in the morning upon occasion.

I try not to be the one giving baths to my daughter. But, when it is time for a bath her mother will say so and it is occasionally my job to keep her from playing more than washing. I think evening works better for us.

When my children were little, before they were old enough for school, they got their baths in the morning after I had my coffee and relaxed. Once they started school, we did baths in the evening before bed. Eventually, when they got old enough to shower without my help, they started taking their showers in the morning. Now that I have three teenagers in the house, my younger son likes his shower in the morning before school, the older one likes his before bed so that he can sleep in later, and my daughter likes hers in the late morning, before work. I fit my own in there whenever I can manage it - often, at two or three in the morning when it's quiet and no one will disturb me.

I do not have little ones. I always used to give my daughter her bath in the evenings though.

I almost always bathe my little ones at night. I find it helps relax them for bed. But if they skip a tub for some reason & need one in the morning I see no reason not to give them a bath in the morning. My son will argue sometimes about getting in the tub- if he's in the middle of doing something & doesn't want to stop.

My kids normally get baths in the evening. I think it is just easier that way. My son likes to spend and hour in the tub and that is not happening in the morning time. My daughter hates baths any time of the day, so later on in the day after dinner makes for a less stressful bath time too.

My kids are grown up now, but when they were young, I used to give them bath in the morning during summers. During winter, either it was in the afternoon when they would come back from school, or at night.

I never get an argument from the kids over their bath. They shower now actually, the older 3 anyways. My oldest takes a shower every school day morning, the twins take showers every other school night, and the little 2 get bathes every couple days most of the time. When it's not a school day I'm a lot more lenient about it, and it's pretty much on an as needed basis, which might only be twice a week. Even less in the summers if they're swimming and such.

We live in a hot country so it is normal to shower/bathe at least twice a day. My grands are bathed both morings and evenings and if necessary, again during the day. It is very easy to strip off their clothese and bathe therm. In the evening bath, they get to play. NO arguement - they love to get in the water especially f they are feeling hot. I cannot afford to keep on the a/c but have ceilings fans. I used to hate bathing if the U.K. as a child - so cold and no heating!
