Make a List

I always make a list. If I don't make a list I end up forgetting ingredients for the things I have planned to make. Or I end up getting what i needed plus a bunch of extra stuff that I don't need. so making a list helps me keep the cost down because i only get what we need. I wish we had a wholesale club closer to us. There is a sams club about 40 miles away from us. I have thought about getting a membership but i'm not sure it would be worth it or not.

I never make a list when I go to the grocery store. I just start on one end of the store and walk up and down each aisle and grab what sounds good or that I can remember we are out of. I would probaly be better off writing a list but with my luck I would forget the list at home anyways.

My girlfriend always makes a list. She says that making that list actually takes more time than the grocery shopping. She seems to have no problem planning out the meals. And that will sometimes cause her to make changes. She might go with the plan on Thursday she's going to make a meatloaf. She gos to the store and finds there's a incredible sale on chicken. Meatloaf gets scratched off and chicken will be made instead. Also, I hope you don't buy the name brands. We go to meijer and get the meijer brand. The only time she buys a name brand is of course, if there's a sale and it's cheaper. Whatever is cheapest, she gets. And let the kids or anyone else in the house complain. If they want the name brand, tell them to go out and buy it themself.

We always have a list. We have an ongoing list, that we add to as we think of or run low on something. That way, nothing gets forgotten when we grab the list and head to the store. I add things before we go that I know we will also need for meals. We too buy our meat in bulk and separate and freeze it. I think that's the sensible thing to do, even though there are only the two of us anymore. It does help save money. I'd be lost if I didn't go to the grocery store without a list. It also helps me stay on track and not buy a lot of junk that we don't really need.

I always make a list during the week of things we are out of or about to be out of. I also try to figure out what we might want to eat the next week, although we change our minds often. It's much easier to do that with only two of us at home. But I do try to get ingredients to make several different dinners the next week. We bought groceries today while we were out. I am sure we forgot a few things, but one of us will be out in the days ahead in case we need something. And I also pick up a few extra things while I'm shopping.

Yep, that is what I do. I go to the store and look at the flyer to see what is on special. Then I plan my meals around those fruits, veggies and meats. It is true I also forget things and have to go back. I don't mind it since I need to walk a lot. So if the weather is o.k. I walk back and get what I missed. If I can't go back I simply plan something else with what I have on hand. I am also on a budget and check my fridg so nothing spoils or gets forgotten.

Yes, I always make a list when I go shopping to minimize too much expenditure and control my budget. Since I am living alone this style is a lot easier. Usually before 15th and 30th of the month, I am already making a list what to buy based on my alloted budget for that payday. I set aside the amount I am going to put on my savings account then manage the remaining amount.

I will go shopping in a cheap supermarket and stick to my listed items no matter what happen. This budgeting style of mine is very effective because I was able to minimize extra expenses beyond my budget.

Usually I go shopping once one week because I'm at work from monday to friday. I buy something for the next week.
Some are necessary, some are dispensable. For neceesary I'll make a list and for the others I always buy randomly.

I try to make a list but sometimes i get lazy. Lately I have been making a list because I spent less money this way. If I dont have a list then I buy a bunch of stuff that I dont need. At least with one, I can just limit my self to whats on there. I have been doing this so that I can save money to buy my family better christmas presents since I would have more money.

I like to make a list and make it easier for myself to get to the store know what I'm going to get and buy it. I also like to make quick and easy meals there for I will get things that I know I will like and that don't take long to prepare. I will try to buy those meals in a box they have all different kinds. I got the chicken and herb one where you just add your own chicken it was good. But to make a list that is most important.
