Do you ever put on 2 different socks?
I'm sure everybody has. Do you change into the right ones or do you figure nobody can tell? If I'm wearing pants i don't care, I wear 2 different socks nobody will se.
My honey changes his right away.
How about you?

I have done that before but I would make sure I change them. My daughter however could care less if her socks match or not. Plenty of times she would purposely pick them out so that they don't match. I used to argue with her but then I realized what's the point? As long as she has something on.

I have a friend that has a pair of socks that came that way. I was visiting one day and I noticed she had one what appeared to be mismatched socks but when I mentioned it said they came that way. It was a novelty gift. Interesting but different.

When I was a teenager back in the late 60's and early 70's I used to intentionally wear mismatched socks. I also wore mismatched earrings. I was such a rebel!
I've grown out of the sock thing but I still rarely match my earrings and I have two holes in each ear. I combine studs and dangly ones and folks *still* tell me that my earrings don't match..like I didn't manage to notice four times while putting them in.

I do that 2, mismatch my earrings.

Hey missy! Nope! I would never wear two different socks! Not
even to stay in the house and not go outside! I just wouldn't
feel right! I have to match everything all the time! Even
when I know that I have no place to go! I refuse to be
miss matched! If I have socks that end up to never be matched
up again I will throw them out!

Actually, do you want to know the real truth. I had a group of friends, whom I was with on a daily basis, someone wore a mismatched socks by accident one day which someone else pointed out. Then from there, it sort of became a game. We would be sitting all together in the same room and then we started looking at each other's feet and our socks.
From that day on, it just sort of became a game to see how long you could wear a pair of mismatched socks, before one of the others noticed.
I think we were a little bit stressed at the time and our little game and helped us ease the tension a bit.
I know this is not exactly what you were talking about when you post this discussion but it brought back that particular memory. And yes, I will wear mismatched socks 'cause it doesn't bother me. I can have, two similar shades of blue, just stightly lighter or darker and I will pair them together. Now, I will draw a line at pairing an orange sock with a blue one.
Happy Mylotting!

This is a continual conversation of controversy in my house. I have to wear socks that match, and it really bothers me when other members of my household wear mis-matched socks. I am always telling them that they come in pairs for a reason. I highly doubt that anyone would really notice any of us wearing mis-matched socks, it is simply a personal thing for me.

I guess some people have to have matched socks for work.
I'm glad nobody can see mine.

I wear mismatched socks a lot. So does my boyfriend.. he probably mixes his socks up all the time. I don't think that socks matching matters because if you're wearing shoes no one will see them unless you have to take your shoes off in someone's home. So YAY to mismatched socks!
