Anyone still watch movies on VCRs?  |

|  I know it seems like DVDs have taken over when it comes to movies, but I wonder if any of you still have a VCR and watch VHS tapes on it? If you rent movies, is it hard to find them on VHS? I don't think Blockbuster has them at all anymore. If you don't use a VCR to watch movies, when did you stop using one, if you did use one in the first place.

| |  I still have my VCR and watch old movies on it that I have got on video tape. Although the majority of my movies are on DVD, I still have some on video that I wouldn't ever get rid of.

| |  No I don't watch movies on VCR. they don't even sell them anymire I went to the library and they had a lot of VHS Movies. I have one I just don't have it hook up.

| |  My kids watch VHS tapes all the time. They have probably 150 of them. My daughter is watching one right now actually. I have several VHS tapes that I will watch once in awhile, but not very often. Sometimes late at night when I am myLotting I will pop one in.

| |  We still have a VCR with some movies but we never watch them. I find that they make the VCR's too cheaply now and it really doesn't even do anything for me anymore. We haven't used it for quite a long time. We are now even getting out of DVD's as they are all going Blu Ray. So no more buying just regular DVD's for us anymore it's just Blu Ray. However if we do rent we have to get DVD's. But that is not a problem as I am sure they will be coming out with Blu Ray for renting.

| |  Analogue (ie,regular tv to an aerial) is being phased out next year in the US,and has already started in the uk,in favour of Digital TV (eg satellite).New Digital Spec TV's are now available,and of the 2 competing DVD Digital standards that were on the Market,Blu-Ray won out.So You'll be seeing more of them on the shelves as time goes on..

| |  no my vcr broke a long time ago and even my dvd broke, my son has a dvd drive on his computer and he watches movies sometimes there, but we don't really rent many movies, and we do have a few dvd's in the house.

| |  I still have a VCR and watch movies on this. I have about 45 VHS movies that I love to watch. I have old movies and new movies too and I still watching them. I have a DVD as well but why put away my VCR if it is working well and I like my VHS tapes? I agree that now is hard to find other than DVDs. It is the same with CDs and the old vinil. I still having vinil records and listening them.

| |  no. i do not watch film on a vcr..now, they have become extinct as new movies wud be hard to find
though i have a vcr, i became curious one day, and try to watch some old cassete, you will not believe it, it got stuck..inside, tried to get it repair. my local eletronic guy told me, u would not be able to repair it now, no one will repair it,,is it true .are they that outdated that no one will even repair them.your view guys
