Queen Cuts Back Spending

Yes, I think this is a wise move for the royal family. Keeping the monarchy around costs Great Britain alot of money and I think that keeping the costs down is very
much a royal duty and obligation.

You are right. But maybe the thing is to spend as much but on other items. They could have a foundation to make houses for the poor. Construction moves a lot of industries. I´m talking about rich people in general, not only the Queen of England.

I agree that if one has money, now is not the time to quit spending. "Trickle down" really does work, so if there is less money trickling down, the middle and lower income people will be hurt even more.

Yes spending would help the economy, but I think everyone is feeling the pinch these days, rich people Middle class people, it has hit everybody every where, no matter where you are, or how old you are, or what job you have, because if you have a job you better hope, you can hold on to it, I don't know when things are going to get better, they say it will be worse before it gets better.

I dont think that stimulating the economy is the way to fix things. I think we all need to live on less and if we have extra money there are smart ways to use it. I think we should all be debt free before we worry about stimulating the economy.

I know that isnt how everyone feels about it but really we live way to lavishly and that is what got us into a lot of this mess.

I think it is a good idea. While I recognize that trickle down theory should work, I do think that it would be better if we had an economy that wasn't so reliant on people overspending. people who are in a position of respect should set an example.

its about time because it is hard to see how the very wealthy people live with their lavish parties and clothing budgets. it makes the rest of the people that are getting laid off and loosing their jobs feel somewhat bitter towards the people of afluence and with money.
