Sounds like a good list to me chance2691! Somany of us get caught up in making promises to DO certain things and then end up breaking these promises to ourselves. What a wonderful thing to commit to mimpi! I never mentioned the same but I shall NOT stop panda spanking myself either. NEVER! Oh and I get frustrated, believe me. You have no idea. And yes, I am trying not to drink at all, but might do so once in a while. I would have drinks every weekend but now I will not be. As for the smoking, guilty as charged I'm afraid! Good plans SaintAnne! I am not going for a bluetooth either and will try to keep all of mine as white as possible for the entire year. And those people that ain't got no time to watch their use of double negatives really do need to work on their vocabularies in my opinion. Ha ha, yesterday was my day off. I was delayed for five minutes. Boyfriend had to wait for me for five minutes. I did not drive so no speeding for me. Besides, no driving violations for me whatsoever in the years I've been driving. Knock on wood!!!!!!!

Failure is purely a foundation act that provides ammunition to do things bigger and better the next time around cyberfluf! It sounds like you have some good plans for 2009 and I wish you every success in realizing each and every one of these goals. I am not someone who sets resolutions either, but I figured I would have a go this year, but work on the things I won't do rather than the ones I will. Let's see how I go! Thanks for your comments and to help you with at least one of these goals, I will try not to frustrate you too often from my end or cross your boundaries too often either! lol.

Better yet, James, DO cross my boundaries every now and then and give me a chance to tell you not to in a good but sturdy manner so I can learn how to keep my boundaries. It's better to practice this with people who do not intentionally want to cross your boundaries and can take the feedback .

I would help you if I could chico, however as we know, it comes from within! I am cutting down on drinking also, but I will focus on not smoking another time I think. One step at a time for me otherwise I will get too overwhelmed I reckon. Yes, there are many bad influences in our lives, but I guess all we can do is our best and try not to be too swayed by others. No need to wish so hard chico, because we CAN! We are Masters of ourselves if we can maintain discipline with all we do. It sure isn't easy, but working on changing habits and ultimately our mindsets will significantly assist us to achieve anything in life we desire.

Hi denise. I am happy to hear you like the discussion! Frustration is not a nice feeling to have so I hpe we both succeed in trying to reduce firustration in our lives. Thankfully I don't have to worry about changing any of my shopping habits as I am pretty much a grocery shopper only these days. Less use of Chanel may also mean that when you DO wear it, you appreciate it more; so god idea there! As for your last goal, sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me is how it is supposed to be, yes? He was better than Roger, no question. But I actually like Daniel Craig as the best so far. Quantum of Solace wasn't so crash hot, but I really like the darkness he has brought to the character. I never overly enjoyed the underlying joviality of some of the other people that played Bond in the past.
