elderly man murders his wife  

Its crime, Its very big crime .......Oh my god how can one do this. So here the case is with an elderly couple. Just imagine how long years they would have lived together. How much they would have shared together. and i don't understand how they commit such a harsh crime to your partner.

That's just crazy. I'm wondering what his motive was and why. I'm assuming that they have been married for years so why did he decide to murder his wife now. It's really mind boggling and I can't comprehend it. I can understand if he was younger that there might have been some motive behind it but they're really old.

People of all ages get depressed this time of year. Who knows what goes through their heads. You get old and frustrated and just want it to be over. This time of year can be bad for anyone and may bring weird memories to mind. Who knows.

That is terrible and is so sad. I have never heard of such a thing either. It seems to be more common thse days though with all age groups. I think alot of people are just sick of the way things are in the world today, no matter how old they are.

I am sure it is possible to have the strength if you are active ad fit. There is an 83 year old man at my gym that lifts 4 days a week and swims 2 days a week. He weighs about 165 and is 5"8". he can still bench press 225 so if he had a reason he could probably have the stregth to kill someone but he is such a nice guy I doubt he would because his wife who 80 also works out but just 3 days a week with weights and 3 days of treadmill and bike.

I have heard of an elderly person killing their spouse before. It has been a while back, I saw it on the news and I recall the wife being terminally ill and he took her out of her misery and pain. He said he did it because he loved her.

Watching the news, reading the news, this is becoming common! Imagine working all your life, investing for your retirement, and having it all eroded by the current economic crisis! So many seniors (& others, et al) have lost their entire portfolio's, as many were misguided, and had all their eggs in one basket! This is a very sad sign of our times!

It really does make one wonder what makes an elderly person take the life of their marriage partner that is also an old person.
Maybe something in them just breaks. I really don't know. I think I might have heard of this kind of thing going on but it does not happen much.

In my opinion human mind is a big mystery. May be when they get older and older and moreover if they are bit healthy too they too get lonely and lonely mind has lots of things to think. Still old or young it all gives a certain same effect when one does a crime and when it is looked upon the legal angle. Hence it is the law to decide and give a justifiable order.
