People often say that what you don't know will never hurt you. I beg to differ.

She doesn't know what tomorrow will bring.
She can't remember what happened yesterday.
She tells a tale that happened 50 years ago.
Five minutes later she repeats the tale again.
Her face is bright as she tells of days gone by.
Her face is saddened when she realizes she can't recall important details.
She knows her mind is slipping.
She doesn't know that life will be different for her soon.
Change is coming.
What she doesn't know won't hurt her now.........
but eventually it will take a toll.

That's true. noting knowing something is not always good or means your better off for not knowing. I'd rather be hurt sometimes to know then to not know.
it's sad when people get old and can't remember things. my parents are getting old.. and if they ever get to that point and they can't remember me or something.
i think it would kill me..but yeah, that saying doesn't hold the truth.
because NOT know can you hurt you sometimes.

As we age our neurons don't fire properly. Strange how some elderly people have minds as sharp as tacks and others that are dull as a butter knife.

Personally I think it would be a bad thing to not be able to know and remember some of the many things that have happened in my life. Personally I feel it is best to know what is going on and be able to do something about them as well. I also find that it is important to be willing to help those who are capable of accepting help to help them keep more aware of what is going on in their life as well.

I don't like the what you don't know because your right one day you will know. So it will either bite you now or later. I would rather know, but sometimes I just can't know I have to wait.
