I do it all the time. I don't care if I buy something or not but just looking can be fun especially when you are price comparing.

this is waht you call window shopping and there is nothing unproductive about it. it is good that you do that because it will be your tool to know what is happening around you, a basis of sorts to know current trends, like prices and things.and besides, we are gifted by a gift of site so let us not waste it, look at somethings beautiful, it will make you feel good. it is just browsing through a magazine but the only difference is that you get to see and feel the real thing and even try it out yourself, first hand.

There is a term for this and it is called window shopping. In my spare time, I like to do window shopping myself and it has its intrinsic values.

To begin with, I like to see the stores decorations especially approaching special festive seasons. The atmosphere, the colors, music and the happy faces of every shopper. Also, it is free heater time during the cold winters and air condition during the humid summers.

Then there are the attractive displays of arrays. I will go for a try on to see if it is right fit for me, as good as what is being advertised and compare prices with the next competitor store. A lot of times, we need to really try and test the things we want to buy for right fit, comfort and whatever value or benefits. Like they say nothing beats the real true hands on experience of the product.

Also, remember calculated delays like these will always get you a lot of savings and value for our hard earned money. Besides, if you are friendly enough with the sales assistant, she may even let you know if that item you are keen and interested will be on sale later in the week.

Last but not least, it is a good form of exercise and break from our daily monotonous life. It is really an enjoyable experience, free ambiance, free comfort, free good customer service, and sometimes free samples especially in the cosmetics and supermarket sections.

oh yeah, most of the time I do it, when I'm not in a hurry:) and when my kids are with me... we do that:) but I do understand your sentiments, it's really great if you have to look for something and when you do like it, it would be best to buy it...:)
but sometimes, too, it's nice to stroll around the mall with the kids, so I just savor the time with them.

If I am already in the mall and I am just killing time, I usually go into the department store to look around. I check and see what there is to buy, or if there is anything that I might need to buy in the near future so that next time, I will know where to go if I need to buy something and at the same time, I am able to compare prices with the other stores I go to.

Oh, I used to do it all the time, youless, and really enjoyed it. I don't do it as much with a little one in tow. But I did it as long as I could while he was in a stroller. Now that he's walking he can out run me, lol.

only when my pocket is full do I need to go for shopping spree with or without intention of buying. But if there is sales going on and prices are at rock bottom prices which are hard to resist then I'll buy otherwise it is just a window shopping just to get me out of the rut.

if am bored.. and i dont have anything to do.. i go and have look.. but thats too impossible you cant buy anything when your looking.. but if the items are no good.. for sure i wont buy anything.. hehehe

Yes, I go to stores quite some times even if I have no plans to buy anything. Sometimes its because sometimes I just need some time off and if I have no choice to go anywhere, I just move to some store and check if they are updated with something new. Also, getting into mob makes me feel better as I see a lot of different emotions on faces of people, Some are happy, some curious, some tired, some caring, some showing emotions for others etc.
But the interesting thin is that, even if I go to the store to buy nothing, I end up spending some money there
