I hope I got that link right. I wish myLot would change their 500 post policy for pasting things, that is ridiculous that I have to type that out.
Anyways, how do you feel about this? It is definitly an infringement on civil rights. The first thing that came to my mind is, yet again, why do the religious think they are so persecuted; yet in a state like this we need to believe in God to even do a public service? It is pretty sick, honestly. I do not know how these states get away with blatant Constitutional disregard.
If anyone want's to pull out a few excerpts and put it in your response, feel free too.

It's not a big deal. The constitutional law hasn't been in effect since 1961, when the Supreme Court ruled such laws illegal. It's been null and void for 48 years. The legislation in the article is just a feel good measure to get the little reputation stain off the books for good. There's no point in getting you panties in a twist over it.
I'm actually both tickled and ashamed the media and other atheists are making a big deal about this. The law hasn't been used against us in almost 50 years, yet they find the need to complain about it like we just recently experience persecution from it? People keep sniffing up the wrong trees to find a scandal. There's no scandal here.
