Father - daughter case of incest  |

 There is a case here in Australia about a father and a daughter that have an adult relathionship. They had 2 kids 1 of them died of heart defects. This makes me sick. Yes they are adults, yes they can make choices but this is just plain wrong. And plus having kids on top of that. Poor things. Anyway what do you think of incest???? Should it be punishable by law? This is the latest on the pair in question.

1.  thungster (147) | 11 months ago |  This is rather troublesome. What is probably even more troubling is that a relationship like this most likely started before the child was of a legal age. In the US, all the states have some sort of law prohibiting incest.

But this couple only just met as Father and daughter, and went from there, She was an Adult when they met for the first time.
Please understand I am not agreeing in what thy did, Tis one is a hard one to understand, WHY.
I do think each case is different, This one is too many that you hear about so to judge what they did needs a lot of care for all.
There has been much sadness here for all over many years.
I wont say more on this as I do not understand it all, Im not angry at it, but I just do not understand it all, I try, but Im lost on where they stand.

I know of a similar case with a brother and sister. THey were not biological and came together through their parents marrying. They are now together as partners also but nobody really knows.
I dont know all the details in this case either, but I am open minded enough to see how 2 people that did know not each other before and did not grow up in an father daughter relationship and are now meeting, could be attracted to one another in other ways. Their emotions could be really confused and never feeling the father daughter connection, it just isnt there. It would be like meeting someone you never knew before. In this case, "father" is just a title as he never was one in her life.
Now had he raised her and was a father figure all her life, well thats a whole other ball game and completely wrong!
I do agree with hiccup that every case is different and meeting for the first time as adults would be totally different. He is her father in title only, and I am not saying this is right. I am just saying that I can see how it could happen

For me I tend to step back from the tree to see the Forrest.
And this is where I am with this, May I say, I just do not know, only the couple can say what they are doing and their feelings.
Help or and advice is needed, thats for sure.

They have produced kids together. If we dont draw the line to every case then what next. A father that gets a 15 year old daughter pregnant could get away because they are in love and in a relathionship. How can we prove abuse after that. | |

I had a discussion where a minister was going with his daughter locally here and the wife caught them, he killed her(the wife) and had her in a fridge for like over four years. When folks asked about her, he came up with excuses and finally after the daughter got pregnant and tired of it and went to three different families asking for help in stepping forward, did she go through with disclosing it to authorities. I don't know what the deal is with these situations, but it don't sound right to me. I am like this: we all deserve love and someone who love us for who we are but sometimes there is boundaries too in such things.

There's no advantages or benefits one gets on this kind of relationship. It is always believed that when two individuals with blood relations unite as one or have intercourse which results to pregnancy and bearing a child, the child would become abnormal. This is explained because they carry the same genes.
This kind of relationship happens all over the world, even here in the Philippines. Worse, there are fathers who sexually abuse their children and even threaten to take their life or anyone when the child speaks out.
Moreover, it is always the father or the superior one who should be blamed because the inferior one may have said yes through force, deceit, intimidation or threatened that is why. It is always the woman who is being exploited at this kind of relationship. It is beyond normal and sound mind to be committed with someone who is your father, brother,grandfather, etc.

First of all, it is the question of morality. How can two people of the same family lose their moral values for lust???
Here in India, given the value system that the kids grow up with, I don't think such a thing will ever be tolerated by the society. Whether law punishes them or not, Society should be the first one to take a stand and punish both of them so that in future no one even thinks about it!
