Well this photo shows the first butterfly of the season in my yard here in Minnesota. No Monarchs yet, but this one here. I asked last yeqar about the name and I've forgotten it already. Have you seen any butterflies yet in your yard? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I have not seen any butterflies here yet this year. I used to have a tree, Mimosa maybe, that butterflies loved. They were the black and blue ones. Very pretty.

I haven't seen any butterflies yet but I have seen a lot of bees flying around and wasps, which I am afraid of. I don't know the name of the butterfly you have in the photo, it sure is a pretty site to see. Thanks for sharing.

I can't really tell from the photo, but I know there are black swallowtail butterflies that have some blue on them. Maybe it's one of those.

I have seen several flying around here. I have seen white ones, yellow ones and brown ones. Mostly yellow ones. I am not good at what types they are.

I haven't seen any yet but the bees are very busy today! It's warm and breezy, at last, and I'm sure the butterflies will arrive soon. I love to watch them and especially when they sit on my hand or leg.

Yes as a matter of fact I have seen quite a few in the last week or so, a lot more than I saw last year! I dont think I hardly saw any last year. I have put a few flowers in myself this year so hopefully that will attract a few of them into my garden.

I haven't seen a butterfly this Spring. But I did see my first huge mosquito this morning. He was perched on the side of my car, waiting for me to open the door.I hit at him and he flew off before I opened my door!

it is so nice to see all those butterflies flying around flowers in gardens. but here, where i live, i seldom see them flying maybe because there are not a lot of gardens and flowering plants that they could fly to. i love watching them though, so lovely with their different colors and sizes.

The Monarchs are on the way, get your milkweed garden ready! Here in Oklahoma, we're in the path of the migration route to and from Mexico. For a week now we've been watching them flutter by on their way north. It's so nice in the spring to see them arriving!

I have not been out to see if there are any butterflies. I will identify your butterfly when I move out of e mail and into the actural discussions. I am trying to remember, I think you posted pictures of an admiral.

Hey Grandpa Bob~! How are you seeing butterflies already when we aren't seeing any signs of Spring at all yet? We are still having cool temps in the 50's maybe an no signs of any leaves or blossoms of any types! It is still going down to the 30's at night! We are lucky to hear the birdies chirping! They obviously didn't get the memo to stay where they were longer! It is horrible here! There is no Spring! It is going to go straight to Summmer, I think?
