Do you still send Greeting Cards or you just send a text mesage & e-mail?

Yes, same here, sometimes I send Greeting cards to my friends but oftentimes I forgot to send a card and just send them text messages...But I make it a point to send them greeting cards next occasions. Yes, I think greeting cards has this personal touch and for me also, i would love to receive it.

Yes, sending picture messages and e-card are much easier than sending greeting cards. I think different people has their own opinions and yes, some people don't like to retain cards, but others still keep it. But I guess the saying is true,:it's the thought that counts".

Yes, many people nowadays send text messages and post birthday greetings to their Friendster or Facebbok Accounts. I think it is better than not to remember them at all.

Yes, same here also....I send Cards on Birthdays and Christmas too. And yes, it is more personal to send cards to your closest friends and family. Even though they are just simple greeting cards, the important thing is that you remember them.

I have also a friend who until now is sending me birthday greeting cards. Like you, when I received it, I feel happy and excited. She also send me personalized greeting cards in which she herself makes the cards. But sometimes I forgot to send her greeting cards so I just greeted her in Friendster and just send her text messages.
But likewise I still send her greeting cards often.

It's really rare that someone sends out personalized greeting cards. You must be a special friend of hers. I think she should be fine even though you do not send her greeting cards in return. Do treasure your friendship with her...

Yes, she is one of my special friend way back in our Elementary Days. She is one year older than me. Since we moved to a city, we rarely see each other, but we still have communication with each other via phone calls and text messaging. Surely, I will treasure my friendship with her as always. But I make it a point to send her greeting cards without any occasion, just to say hi and missing her.

It's good to know that you 2 still keep in contact after she moves away. A lot of people will actually gradually lose touch over the years. This is very good.

I guess you are the type of person who still keeps those greeting cards. Same here, I kept all of the cards and letters into a box. Sometimes I read those and it has a different feeling to see all those letters. I felt touched and thankful.

I do not keep the cards anymore because since my brother passed away and my mom is 88 and does not drive she has no way to get me a card because I am always with her. I tell her to forget the cards now. Its too difficult for her to stand there and look through them and its troublesome also for her to walk alot but she sure does try. I just try to make things easy on her.

Yes, I think there are some person who would do that, but I guess many people still treasure those cards. But with the technology nowadays, I think they prefer Text messages or email to greet them.

Good point. I was putting greeting cards in the recycle bin (unless they are from my kids or husband), but now keep them in a craft box where the pictures can be cut out and used for crafts.

Yes, it is now a lot easier to greet your friends thru our Text mesaging and thru email..but sometimes some people want that special cards from you. But no matter how you greet them, they will be always thankful that we remember them, right?
