Wasn't the Craigslist killer targeting people providing adult massages? I thought I'd heard something about that. I have to admit I've been a bit leery about craigslist before. Once I stopped by at a woman's house to buy some baby things she was selling. I didn't say anything, but I did wonder a bit about a man coming over to my house to pick up stuff from my wife. I didn't think I'd be entirely comfortable with that. We have a dog, however, and that should be a little bit of a deterrent, I should think. Still...

Why would something like that keeping people from accessing that site? Yes, you never know what type of people, etc. might be lurking and posting there, but it should not keep people from being in there. I know I have sold things there before, and gotten stuff from there, so I would think personally it is up to how you behave on there that determines what happens as well.

Yes. I never used it before anyway. I have heard alot of bad things about them lately too and it scares me to even go there. I think I will just stay away from there.

There are some people still posted their selling items on craigslist. Not long ago, my colleague sold his car through craiglist too. All you need to do just make appointment for the potential buyer or seller, and told them to bring that item for you inspect on site. Otherwise, you won't want to be scammed right?

I agree with what poetrypose said. In any internet site you have to be careful. Never trust what you can't see is the motto i have and so it doesn't matter if its craigslist or mylot i'm always cautious abt the internet
