Do you like fishing?  

I liked fishing when I was a child. I never wanted to eat the fish I caught though. So I'd let my fish go, and we'd all eat the fish everyone else caught. Pathetic, I know. Now days I'd be greatful I caught dinner, and eat it anyway!

I love to fish but haven't been in a long time. As a child I would rather just do the camping thing and my dad and brother would fish mostly. Later on in life my mother and I would fish a lot, even if we didn't catch anything we had a blast. My kids would of course have to go with me and my mother but they would take games to play or find things to do when they got tired of fishing. Then we moved where there were so many lakes around us and my husband and I loved to go bass fishing. Also we would all load up, even my mother, and would spend all day fishing at the lakes. I loved it when my mother lived with us before she died, she and I wet many a hooks and we caught many fish too. She and I would have rather gone fishing than shopping. Oh how I miss her and our fishing trips.

my dad first took me fishing when i was 6 and i was instantly addicted to it. he rented a stretch of river and we used to go every sunday afternoon until about 7pm.
he bought me a 6ft rod and some basic tackle just to use while i was learning then when he knew i was going to enjoy it he bought me some better tackle and a nice mitchell reel which i still have.

i used to enjoy coarse fishing, i often went to a local carp lake and fished with a float rod but i became disillusioned, i found it to be less of a challenge than river fishing so i returned to that.

after years of fishing with ledgers or floats i decided to learn to fly fish so i bought a tutorial book and the relevant tackle and taught myself to cast. i now enjoy spending hours walking up and down the river banks fishing for trout, the time just flies by and if the fish aren't taking my flies i can still practise my casting so i never get bored.

fishing is the most relaxing pastime i can think of, i would recommend it to anyone.

I learned to float fish by myself when I was a kid. My older brother had a fishing rod and I wanted to do the same. Someone gave me a length of line which I tied to and end of a long stick. I used a little stub of a stick for a float. I was also given a hook and a lead weight. Used worms and grasshoppers as bait. I actually caught fish with that from the bank. Mainly perch and small mouth bass. We fried them up for dinner. They were delicious.

I haven't gone in a VERY long time! I always enjoy it though. I am actually taking my kids this weekend.

I love fishing! There is a beautiful river about two blocks from my house and, since we live in Florida, we can take the boat out all year round. We also fish from the boat docks once in awhile. Fishing is very peaceful and relaxing but we don't get to do it too often these days. We have some weird looking fish down here, too, so you never know what you're going to pull up when you feel that tug on the line.

In reality i never fished before in my life!!So i don't know if fishing will be so nice as sports or not..may be i think as regards that normally i like activities who are more dynamic than fishing..even if i can understand that even fishing can have their goal and good time for people enjoy doing this especially during summertime and the weather is nice to spend sometimes to the board on the river!

YES, I LOVE TO FISH with a cane pole. don't want a rod & reel , just like to sit out there in the peace & quiet , watch the bobber & enjoy . I HAVEN'T GOT TO GO FISHING IN A LONG TIME.

I really enjoy fishing and went with my dad before he got old and sick. It was fun times. I would love to go now but nobody I know likes to fish. I'm not real brave when it comes to placing bait on the hook. Slimy worms, ewwww. I can't be in the sun much because of my skin. Wearing sunscreen when around the water doesn't help because of the reflection. I burn so easily. I use to play many outdoor sports but have gotten away from them. Once in awhile I will golf but I don't find it to be relaxing as some others do. Everyone is in a hurry to keep the game moving. I do love the outdoors and water but it's best I stay away and not cause more skin problems.

I have never gone fishing before, maybe because of the lack of chances. However, I do want to try it one day. It seems to be a good way of relaxing myself as well as getting close to the nature.
