Wow that's a bit...judgmental of them...ok more than a bit. I'm going to say i see examples of religious intolerance alot - certain places wont let you be a member if you aren't Christian...Jewish...Muslim etc. You cant go to certain schools. Religious symbols cant be worn certain places. BUT i will say i find that its not just one religion or group doing it.

Its sad really.

I dont recall actually being banned from a website...Although i find if i dont agree with a websites views or requirements for memberships i dont bother going back - so maybe i have been banned from some. So far I've lucked out and not been banned from mylot.

hi I am doing a bit of paid-to-read stuff and just complained to one of the webmasters a few days ago about his pushy attitude. He doesnt leave us as users the choice of having the mails in our inbox with the site or delivered to our e mail account but then proceeds to write idiotic reminders saying hi book you have 202 e mails in your account with us, and, even better yet, sending these annoying information e mails and his mails late night time when ordinary working folks are sound asleep and have waited all day long for his online cr@p to appear.
I was close to payout there when I wrote the complaint saying something like, I am only a few cents away from payout and then I will ask for that payout and when I am paid there once has been a user with my username.
He only answered, read and acknowledged.

Soooooooo yesterday was the big day, I could and did ask for that payout, then proceeded to polish off the mails which still were in my inbox, and half an hour later when I came back to check it said payout completed (I chose payout to my checking account).
Not even five minutes later got an e mail telling me he has proceeded the payout, money should be on my account by Tuesday and he now has blocked my access to the site due to my mail a few days earlier.
lol lol lol of course I checked and there it was, Blocked by Admin.

However I kept his mail and when that money will not be on my account by Friday next week I will tread on his nerves for that. (grin)

Merry meet good Spaks...that gave me a good chuckle. It seems you offended them and probably shocked them too....you, you PAGAN you. I hope you wished them love and light and brightest blessings just to show them there were no hard feelings from your end.

May God/Goddess-Source forgive them for their judgment of others. I wholeheartedly agree with you that love, tolerance and understanding comes in many different forms/beliefs, etc. I believe if the site banned you then you are probably better off without it. I've never had something like that happen to me, but if I did I might be tempted to point out their hypocrisy, but I'd probably be better off "turning the other cheek" instead of pointing out the fact that they are being Christians under false pretenses. Ahhh, but it's best to keep the peace in order to set an example for others.:):)

I'm a proud Pagan too and I've received the same kind of behavior several times now from many people who simply don't understand Paganism at all.

It's not easy for people of any religion to receive respect and tolerance. Sometimes, you never know what is going on until you suddenly have to do something that requires a disclosing of your beliefs. When I disclosed at my old job that I don't celebrate birthdays and refused to sign birthday cards, I was automatically shunned from other activities. I really didn't care. I went to my job for an income not to associate with everyone.

I am really sorry to hear about it. But I think every human has the right to follow whichever religion he/she wants and it is not the duty of some website to teach them.
