My baby girl was born on Saturday

Congratulations again on the birth of your baby girl! I love her name! Amber is such a pretty name. I'm happy for you that she is healthy, too.

I had two boys. The oldest, who just turned 28 on Monday, was born June 29, 1981, three weeks ahead of schedule. The youngest was born on January 26, 1984. I was pregnant a third time and that one was due in September but it was a tubal pregnancy and my tube ruptured. I wanted no more children after that.

How can you describe the feeling when you first see your newborn baby? I was flooded with emotion! I cried. I was thrilled to finally see the little fella who had been kicking me so hard for so long! With my second baby, he was breech so I had a C-section. I was also extremely filled with emotion when they showed him to me. I couldn't hold him because I had had a spinal and had to remain flat on the operating table with my head down. When I first got to hold him, it was just like the very first time.

There are no words that can really describe that feeling. Immense joy is the closest I can come to it.

Congrats on having a healthy baby girl, its got to be a relief that she is ok. How is your son doing? Is there a surgery that can help your son, I hope he is better and can live a good life. I am sorry I don't know alot about spina bifida.

I have two boys. My older one is almost 9 and he was born in the month of September. My younger one is two and a half and he was born in the month of November.
Though I was over the moon when both my kids were born, it was two different experiences...it's hard to explain. My first was born as a normal delivery 3 weeks before he was due and I wasn't really expecting it to happen that soon. And everything was over so quickly. My second was full term and I had him through an emergency C-section...and that was quick too that I hardly had time to think till I had the baby. I was just so happy that I got him alive...we were scared we would lose him and we probably would have even if we waited another 15 minutes to do the surgery.
My two boys are really wonderful. They are smart boys....but so different. My older one takes after me in everything (looks and qualities) except his blood group which he shares with his dad....and my younger one is an exact replica of his dad (looks and quality) though he shares my blood group:)
My older one is the intellectual kind...who loves books, puzzles...loves to learn and do projects.
My younger one is one little active bundle. He's smart too...but he's on the move all the time. He loves his balls, vehicles and is a total outdoor kind of a person.

Congratulations my dear friend. I'm sorry to hear you had such a bad time with the birth of your daughter, but all is well, and you should be really happy that everything turned out ok. It must have been scary at the time, but you have a beautiful piano-playing daughter.

Congrats on your baby. I do not have children I dream over and over again about that day that my children will be born. It must be a hard yet rewarding task to bring a child into the world then care for the little bundle of joy. I always crying hoping that one day I will have that chance before God takes me away.

I know that I would like to have children in the spring time because its the perfect birthday season. Also my wedding is in Januaray so it makes it a good span of time for aniversary in the winter and birthdays in the spring/summer.
