Hi Bob is good to see you back. In answer to your question I'm always leary these days and pretty much just stick with responding to friend's discussions that I know but even with that your not safe from the powers of myLot trolls. I don't so much think about posting discussions because that's just oh well if it gets deleted (before people respond much at least - then I would feel bad for the good people who responded and the time they took.

Glad to hear it, Grandpa Bob. I've had problems with trolls, and seen my reputation and earnings suffer, but I won't let them stop me giving my honest opinion. I've also trimmed down my friends list. Why do people ask to be friends and then follow your discussions, giving negative ratings and reporting? I don't understand it. I would only do that if people were violating guidelines, not just because someone disagreed with me, or didn't share my opinion. Oh well, the majority of the Mylot community are nice, knowledgeable people, so it's worth hanging in there. Welcome back.

Way to go Grandpa Bob. That sounds great to me, let's just hope they are just away for the holiday. I am not sure about trolls but yes I have been afraid to speak my mind many times on here. I have replied to so many discussions but never clicked to post it, just either x'ed out or removed the reply.

Hi Grandpa Bob... I try to pick and choose my words very carefully to avoid being trolled or 'hated' by certain people. I just don't want the stress of it all. I am so busy being politically correct that I don't really speak my mind about a lot of things, because I would only be targeted. It's easier to go with the flow or say nothing.

You are not alone grandpa bob. I think the trolls must be working overtime or else they have had a change of heart. . They fail to realize these are discussions. I guess they never learned debating tools in high shool. When someone disagrees with them they take it as a personal insult. What a shame. Good luck on your posting.

I am as you may have guessed, not afraid to speak my mind.

However, what I know about gardens and plants generally couldn't make farm town interesting. I told my wife that an ideal living thing for me is on the 2nd floor or higher condo which faces north. No sun, no plants, no garden or lawn... You seem to enjoy yours, so who am I to ruin your discussions with drivel?

Have you ever thought of being a freelance writer/photographer for your local little paper?

You could do the photography you enjoy as well as write a bit, and make way more money than mylot without being tied to a job job.

I haven't run into any trolls personally. Good for you to have come through yesterday unscathed. Hope this means you'll hang in there a bit longer.

Good to see you back, Grandpa Bob. Great that the trolls are leaving you alone. I generally say whatever I want but my star has certainly paid for it on occasion.

I know its disgusting what the trolls are doing but for me I am not afraid of them and if i sotp coming here, then the trolls have won, I won't let them beat me and you shouldn't either, they are just cowards, and if its keep happening I would wtite to admin about it because many mylotters who has been here for a long time have moved somewhere else and I miss them.

Good for you! Glad its coming back around for you. I haven't been afraid to speak my mind....in responses or discussions.....but have once in a while hoped that I haven't offended someone.....I don't think I have ran into trolls yet....but a few snotty people once in a great while....or someone that thinks they are being funny...
