Ideas for hot dogs  

We usually cut them into bite size pieces and put them in a crockpot with baked beans.. It becomes like a casserole dish. No bread needed.

we cut them up and eat them with mac and cheese. we got a very large package of hot dogs on sale at costco and have to think of ways to use them up too. we also just eat them plain with home made french fries (no bun).

I have two ideas. One my kids loved and that was to cut them up in macaroni and cheese. You might want to warm them a little first! The other is make a fried pot. I don't know what to call it.. I cut up potatoes and onions and fried them like normal after the potatoes are almost done then add cut up weiners and I also liked to throw in some corn. You could add a variety of ingrdients too...

Slice them up and stick them in macaroni. Or, get tortillas and refried beans, and cheese. put some beans in each toritlla as well as cheese. Put the hot dog on top, wrap it in tortila, then bake. Mexican Pigs in a blanket!

My mother always cut hot dogs up and mixed with mac and cheese to make it a main dish. You could also cut them into bite sized pieces and saute with onion and bell pepper. I usually do the saute with sausage, but it would work with hot dogs.

We wrap ours up in crescent rolls. I buy the crescent roll dough at the store. I take a piece of cheese and lay it on each triangle and then I roll each hot dog up in a crescent roll. Then just bake until the roll is golden brown. They have bigger crescent rolls out that fit around a hot dog better than the regular ones.

I've got some great ideas. You need to get a big can of pork and beans and then slice a couple of hot dogs like you would a cucumber. Add the dogs with the beans and you've got a filling meal that everybody enjoys. Also, you can get some cresent rolls and place a cut in half hot dog inside and make pigs in a blanket. Enjoy!

I think I am going to have to go with the crowd on this one. I like hot dogs chopped up and put in to macaronie and cheese myself. I think they would also go really well with beans, not just BBQ beans but Navy beans as well, in like a navy bean soup, or maybe just navy beans and franks. I think that would be very good.

Let's see. A regional eatery serves them cut up on a hamburger bun, drenched in chili, covered with cheddar and chopped onions. Mighty tasty. They are good in mac and cheese, with or without chili. They are good in beanie weenies.
