Who do you resemble most?

I think I am a mixture of both my father and mother...My son looks more like me and my little girl looks more like her father...

Ive been said many times that i look like my mum but to me personally i don't see
much that resemblance perhaps iam not really looking or refuse to see it

I have a guy friend who resemble much of his mum i don't know if he have realised it never have brought that question up to him but will surely do now that you have brought up that discussion.I think anyone by looking will know that they are son & mother even a stranger can recognised that they are related that's how resemblance should be but i know there are many types even by personality and character.

But i think related to that i resemble more my father his very frank he takes after his mum and i take after him.

I think I look more like my mother but I have my father's eyes and characters. I inherited my fathers passion for reading too. My second son looks like me but my eldest is having more of his father's genes.

I do not resemble any one in my family....in fact when I am with my family people find it difficult to believe that I am one of them....there is a vast difference ..but my daughter is an exact replica of me......but not my son.

Hi, is strange, but i don t have anything from my mother, maybe just gender, i am my father copy, his face, his character, even his gesture.
Is strange again that i never were in good relations with my mother too, we are so different, sometimes i ask myself if she is really my mother.
Any way, my father was my idol, so, seems that if i like him i like myself too.

Nice discussion topic. It is said that I resemble my paternal grandfather in a good number of ways. He was a six footer with long limbs and I am tall for a woman by our Indian standards. Moreover, I resemble him by bone structure and features too . My eyes, nose, mouth and chin all look like him. My son looks a lot like my husband and a little like me. But, many of his inherent characteristics are like mine.
Apparently there is a lot of my father in me[ resourcefulness, creativity and boldness] though I do have some qualities of my mother[ emotional and reactive]. I guess we all would be a mix when it comes to characteristics/qualities or behavioral patterns, because though some of them do tend to be genetic many are also acquired and consciously and unconsciously emulated upon by us.
One strange thing though--my sister’s daughter resembles me in many ways and once when I found that she had a peculiar whim [as regards some food habit] I was most surprised. She or I never knew this and she was not in close contact with me to have acquired this out of habit. This whimsical like had just been genetically transmitted and my mother was very surprised when I made a similar remark like hers. She said’’ My! Your niece makes exactly the same face and statement’.

I am adopted so I do not resemble any of my relatives. An ironic twist of fate has left me resembling my stepfather somewhat. He and I both have brown wavy, to curly brown hair, my hair is turning dark, his gray. He has brown eyes, I have muddy hazels, that tend toward brown.

Every said I looked like my mother I miss her so much we were not just mother or daughter we were best friends done so much together traveling and every thing to talking on the phone together she is in heaven now but always every where we went people would say we looked alike.

I think I have more resemblance to my sister. their are times when I visit her schools. Then, I notice a girl smile and wave her hands on me. I just smile back and when she approached me she think I am her friend. I tell her I am the older sister. Also, my relatives says that my attitudes are similar to my father. Like him I am fun of eating, cooking, napping, watching movies and going to amusement parks. i really enjoy all of this.
