Do you have a passport?  

Hi anna, I've had a passport ever since I can remember but it's a pretty sad looking document these days as it remains blank, no fancy stamps on pages to remind you where you've been like there used to be, just an empty document implying you've been nowhere. Why? Because they don't stamp them between Europeam countries anymore. Mine is good for 10 years then expensive to renew and as you say a hassle.

Yes I do and was lucky because my company paid for it! I'm from the usa and we were working in Mexico at a General Motors Plant. We used to go back and forth from Detroit that was before they were required. Something happened while I was there working, I think one of their contractors did something wrong, but anyhow all of a sudden they required everyone to have one. I found a place online that got them in 48hrs. my company paid for it and it was sent right to the plant in Mexico I still go back and forth from there a lot so that's a good thing tdemex

Mine was easy to get and there was not hassle involved at all...it is up to date and ready to use when I need it!

I don't have a passport. But I will consider getting one if I am vacationing or going outside of my country. It just seems a real hassle to have to go down to the Passport office. The passports here are really expensive. Then I have to wait weeks or months for it to arrive. So you really have to do it ahead of time.

Yes, I have a valid passport. Initially, I felt it difficult to get them. I have to ask about some of the procedures and I have queued. I use the passport the first time to Singapore.

I got my first passport in 2003. It wasn't a big hassle, I had to get photo's taken at a special little photo store. Go to the post office and get a form, fill it out and mail it off, it cost me about $100 then and it is good for 10 years. I have used mine a lot because I moved to Mexico from the US and need it to go back and forth. I have used it to go to Belize as well. I would love to travel to Europe but it is pretty expensive to fly there from Mexico.

I have a passport. I make sure my passport is always on date as I travel a lot. What I don´t have now is a visa to enter the US. I have always had visas to enter the US that lasted 10 years. It was very convenient. Now things are a lot more difficult so I have to think about it many times before I decide to have the US as the place for my vacations. It is expensive, they are charging a special fee for people from other countries to enter AND there´s the visa to get. Quite a hassle, I would say.
So I´m setting my eyes in South America or Europe as my next trip.

I also got my passport a couple of years ago in 2007 and it is valid till 2012. Here in Pakistan, getting passport and ID card is full of hassle. Thanks God I got mine easily. I have not travelled anywhere on my passport yet but I think I have to use it in near coming future.

Yes, I have three, but only two are current and up to date, the other one is expired. The expired one is from the country where I was born, so I am proud of it and have no intentions to get rid of it. The second one is from the place where I am living at the moment and it is practical to have it, but I don't feel attached to it and would get rid of it if it wasn't so convenient to have. The third one is from a place where I chose to become a citizen and where I would like to return to stay there some day soon! There is a fourth passport I would not mind having, but I never got a passport from that country, even though I lived there for many years, something that I now regret not doing!

I'm already on my 3rd passport, the first one expired, the second one was eaten by my dog (he was a puppy at the time), I was actually due to go away two days later and couldn't because of this bad dog! Getting a new passport is always quite costly but I found that applying for one isn't so bad once you've already had one.
