Pogo Stick  |

|  Heard on the news this morning that the pogo stick is celebrating 90 years. I had no clue it was that old! I can recall having one as a kid and I spent hours on the thing bouncing up and down until it made the inside of my feet hurt. It would rub. Maybe that's why I was always so thin..lol Please tell us about any experience you had with a pogo stick? Hopefully no broken bones or bad experiences.

| |  My parents wouldn't buy us a pogo stick. I used to use my neighbor's one instead and had loads of fun with it. Your right, though, I was so thin then. When I outgrew the pogo stick is when I started gaining weight. Maybe I should look into buying one for adults.

| |  I wasn't really graceful enough to really enjoy it....I would jump a few times....then fall off....never got hurt just never got the whole jest of it....so I wasn't one of my favorite things.....but my dad made us stilts and I did very well on those!

i think I was the only child that never had a pogo stick, as my mum used to say I'll break my neck on it, but my friends used to have them and I was too scare4d to go on them so I really missed out on the fun side of it, shame.

| |  I never really played with a pogo stick. I liked tricycles, bicycles, peddle cars, etc.
