What Determines How or Why A Discussion is Listed in the Daily Digest?

Am wondering if it's more about where the discussion is placed, what category, the actual amount of responses or could it be the actual content? I started a discussion yesterday about cleaning your mouse and it had several responses. I did list in the Q & A category which is where I primarily post most of my discussions. I've been in the digest more than once and it's fun to wake up and see your discussion listed in the daily digest.

Hi Carol, This is my second time come across this word daily digest First and foremost, where can I see this 'daily digest'? I check the home page, I did not see anything on that. I check top discussion, nothing mention on daily digest too! Look like I am 'Lost somewhere'...could someone enlighten me on this! Many thanks All the best and I would like to wish everyone all the best as today is the last day for August to achieve the minimum payout!

Hi Iriene, the digest is something you need to sign up for so am glad you found it. If your discussion(s) are on the digest, you had a good response to the initial discussion. Thanks so much for responding.

I have often wandered that myself. I think it has alot to do with how many times it is viewed or commented on within a given amount of time. I am not sure of it though. I have had a few of mine there too.

I really think myLot doesn't want us to know all the details. That's fine. I enjoy seeing one of my discussions in the digest even though it doesn't happen very often. Thanks for responding.

Hullo Carolbee !I thought this discussion featuring in mylotdigest is dependent on the number of responses within a stipulated time period .I was also wondering if it had something to do with people rating our discussion positive.

I have no idea how discussions end up in the digest. I've had discussions with lots of responses and they don't make it there. Might have something to do with the content of the discussion and responses too. Thanks for responding.

I wasn't in the digest this morning so I stayed home and cried all day. It was so sad...lol If it's luck, I wasn't lucky. If it's skill, I have no skills. And no, I have not been drinking. Thanks for responding.

Hey carol! I still haven't been able to figure out exactly how a discussion makes the digest! In fact, one of the discussions that made today's digest was deleted! So I really don't understand! I love making the digest too! Some people make it all the time and think nothing of it, but I think it's really cool too! I think it depends on what category it's in and how many other discussions are in it too and what they're about and how many responses they get! But, you can't go by that either because sometimes even that explanation still doesn't work to figure it out! It is just a mystery that mylot admin likes to keep that way!

Hi Opal. I think you are right. I know myLot likes to keep us in the "dark" about certain things and that's ok. I must have missed the discussion that was deleted from the digest this morning. It's probably the one I answered..lol Thanks for responding.
