Praise the Lord.....Susana surgery was a success!

Our prayers have been answered as the transplant was a success and Susana is doing well with her new kidney but is still under doctors supervision for possible infection which normally happens to foreign organ planted in the body. Here is the update of her condition sent by our mylot friend. In the meanwhile please continue to pray for her speedy recovery and a clean bill of health. Hey! I'm very happy and thankful to The Lord!! My wife's Surgeon told me the surgery and results were magnifiscent and she didn't even need blood transfusion or anything! The donated kidney started to work right away and efficiently, and by the time I saw her this evening even her face had better color. In her semi-conscious state she thanked the Dr and told him he had "given her a miracle", and the Dr. corrected her, that "There's Only One" who does that, and who did the surgery. I was impressed! He's right, and not an arrogant man. However, as happy and thankful as I am for your Prayers and The Lord's Favor, let me inform you that the most delicate part begins now... she must be isolated for 48 hours, with a dedicated Nurse, and medicated to prevent rejection. The wonderful human body that God created is able to resist and reject foreign objects, and that's what a donated organ is, so the recipient's body must be disarmed of defenses and made vulnerable to any infection, and at the same time must be medically protected from those potential threats. This is no time to let the guard down. I'm praying to our Lord and Savior Jesus that this will be a successful transplantation for the sake of my wife but also that the whole procedure is not a waste. Remember that the deceased was a young woman too... obviously a conscientious, good, generous person...she donated all her organs. Anyway, I thought I'd share the good news with you and request your faithful prayers. Thank you to all mylotters who have prayed for Susana. May God bless you all Yes, Our heavenly Father is closer than ever when we are facing illness and uncertainity. He will not forsake those who sincerely pray for His divine touch. May Our Lord shower his everlasting care and love to our recuperating friend, Susana, to be with her every hour and every minute!

Thanks lady for your prayers. This is the latest update that was emailed to me: Well the internet service finally returned...we were without since yesterday, I guess on account of the BIG rain that fell. I was in San Juan, visiting with my wife and returned to flooded roads but thanks be to God, all was well at home! I left the girls home alone because Susana was still in isolation; but she's thrilled with the degree of attention that is being given to her, her meds and everything else. She's so happy you wouldn't think she's been through such a major surgery and all she does is thank The Lord for His Great Favor. The Drs and Nurses are all very impressed as well and, contrary to what I thought, she might be coming home already on Thursday. I am very grateful as well, for your kindness and concern in prayer. This is truly a wonderful thing that has happened and in fact, when Susana called the University, the Top Dog there got on the phone with her and told her not to worry about a thing, that she would not be dropped and the Profs will work with her!!! This MUST be from God! It just amazes me that there are so many unbelievers... Now THAT'S incredible!!! Hold on to our Lord, my friends, HE answers Prayers even if His timing is not our own. I Bless you and thank you for your concern and prayers... it's called love, and it's beautiful.

It is always pleasant to hear some good news for a change. I especially picked up on the statement that she didn't need a blood transfusion. That is so fantastic because often blood transfusions cause more problems than they solve. Don't forget that blood transfusions are foreign objects as well and our bodies try to reject all foreign bodies from our system. Since she already must take precautions to keep her from rejecting the kidney it is good she wasn't also complicated with a blood transfusion.

I am quite surprise that she don't need any blood transfusion which many patients need after surgery. This is something miraculous. This is God's help in health problems and he might not want Susana to be burdened by having another foreign object besides her new kidney. God knows how to get it through!

Need to look up for more info in the net. I remembered when I went for my c-secion the doctors asked to deposit blood in the hospital blood bank in case of emergency need. Many of my relatives donated but I only need one pint after the surgery.

If the truth were known you probably didn't even need that. My daughter had a C section and they didn't even mention blood.

May I ask you riya, being a medical doctor, a major surgery of this kind should have loss a lot of blood and needs blood transfusion. But in her case she is doing fine without any blood transfusion. What is your explanation as to how a human body can sustain without replacing the blood loss during the surgery?

she might have lost only minimal blood which will be replaced or produced by the body dur[ng following months.

Many prayers and good energy is being sent to Susana and I am certain that she will come out of this with a whole new life ahead of her. I had a friend who had this done and he had many years of good health once he got his transplant. Like all of us we must live now and not waste life, none of us know how long we have. Blessing

I read your original discussion about Susana and did not respond because by the time I got around to it, you posted this one. It sounds as though everything went as well as could be expected and I will gladly join in and pray for your friend’s recovery. I have a friend that is about to go in for a kidney transplant. When I first met her, seven years ago, she had thirty percent kidney function and now it is only nine percent so the time has come for her to either start dialysis or receive a new kidney. Her sister was a match three years ago and is no redoing all the tests because the time has come. When I read about Susana and her operation my heart went out to her because it is a situation very close to my heart. I pray that Susana and my friend are healed and can have happy healthy lives real soon.

Thanks Paula for your prayers. It is us who are healthy and well who should help our sick friends in what ever ways possible. I have no doubt when a group of people pray for the same intention, it works perfectly. I am very happy that Susana is on her road to recovery and hopefully she will lead a happy life after her discharge.

Praise the Lord and Hallelujah!! I had not head your story until just now, but I will definitely add your wife to my prayers! If you get a chance will you add a friend of mine to your prayers. He is a little one year old that is facing a lot of pain with sickle cell anemia. He needs all the prayers he can get for many years to come! The Lord has helped him to live to be one. I am hoping that he gets many more years!! He is in the Lord's hands. Thank you and God bless you and your wife!!

It is my friend's wife, a fellow mylotter who is in this discussion. I am requesting for prayers on his behalf. We should also include this little boy who is so young and in pain. It is better if you have his name known here so we can include him in our prayers.

God is forever in control of our lives. God created us and give us a good auto- immune mechanism to protect us. Anything that is foreign in our body, our immune system will be called to to fight back just like attacking the viruses or bacteria and killing them in the process. So the transplanted kidney is foreign to the body and immune system will reject it.There is no rejection issue shows that Susan is in God's favour. Susan's surgeon is right, God is the One who make the operation a success. Tonight I will pray for God's blessings to on Susan. God bless you, too.

God has made it possible for her to take quick and sure advantage of all those things He has placed here on earth for her to get the best from the physician to the correct medication. He will make it possible for her to use the natural forces for recovery which lies in her body. God had given her this chance to draw upon a limitless power. Please join the rest of mylotters in praying for her speedy recover. Thanks James for responding.

I think I made a boo boo here. I feel so embarrassed! In my haste to clear my inbox, I think I have mis-read the discussion. I thought the post was referring to your wife. At the back of my head, I remembered that Zandi is a woman. But it never strike me as odd when she is referring to the person who got the organ transplant as "his wife". That is until I came across the other discussion asking for prayers. My apologies zandi. How is your friend's wife doing now?

Hi Zandi, I'm a week late but never ever far from my mind! I'm so glad to hear such wonderful news and hope it's continued on through the week! Yes, thank the Good Lord above for all his wondrous work! Like my mom says, if we survive then it was meant to be because the Good Lord doesn't have our bed ready yet, meaning that He's not ready for us yet but only the ones He's taken. Bless your hearts!! I hope it progresses on the good way!!

Susana Gimenez - Susana Gimenez was hard to recognize on her show´s sketch, except for the voice, along with co-star actresses .
Hello my friend zandi458 Ji, All prayers have been answered . Now She is much better. I bring out following posted two days ago about her . Please follow this link:- http://momento24.com/en/2009/10/12/susana-gimenez-high-on-surgery-and-botox/# Susana Gimenez was hard to recognize on her show´s sketch, except for the voice, along with co-star actresses . Her mouth was so strange and so big that one could not recognize her face, just like, Carola Reina and Adriana Salgueiro. The characters highlighted today´s eat whatever you want and then get sugery. It was really quite comical to see the different faces distorted ‘by surgery’ representing each. The musician/ singer Sergio Denis, who had a small stake in the sketch, discusses the brief anecdote of when he met Susana before the show, already wearing her ‘Botox’ face and thought she had had an accident, seeing her so deformed he made no sound for fear of saying something that offended her. It was like a parody with a message, “do not do the lips, you get deformed.” May God bless You and have a great time.
