I didn't read any of the Twilight books. I did see the first movie, I didn't think it was great, but I was told that the books were far better. Then I did a search on the internet, and Wikipedia tells what's going to happen in each book, so I read ahead and know the outcome. I guess that made me totally lose any interest I had. I wasn't planning on seeing New Moon at all.
But I just watched a trailer for it on Youtube and have decided I do want to see it! It looks like it will be a great movie! I'm almost even interested in reading the books!
Has a trailer for a movie ever peaked your interest in something you thought you definitly wanted to pass up?

Oh, kats, the books are great! I'm usually not the kind that would read those books. I love good Christian fiction, but my daughter/granddaughter had them all and kept telling me how good they were. They brought me the first 2 and I read them. I went online and read the last 2 - couldn't wait to get them from my granddaughter. The boys brought the first movie down here not long ago and one of them watched it nearly every night. It was pretty good but nothing like the books! It leaves out SO much good stuff. You will love the books. It was hard to put them down! The author is good for sure!

Uh oh!! I know how addicted I got to the Harry Potter books! Hope I don't get that crazy about Twilight! I am now one of the first in line to see a Harry Potter movie when it comes out, and I even pre-ordered the last Harry Potter book...

All too often, a trailer made me think a movie was going to be really good. Then I watch it and those scenes aren't even in the movie. And the movie sucked. I haven't read any of the Twilight books. I didn't want to see the movie. Then a friend loaned it to me. I was pleasantly suprised by it. I really liked it.
You have to understand, I've been burnt out on vampire/werewolf/human triangles since reading the two series:Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter and Charlaine Harris's books about Sookie (No, I haven't seen any of the True Blood based on it). One can only read so many series about a subject!
But it was a good show.

My wife is a fan of that and she just finished the two books already. Although she was able to watch the movie first(Twilight) my mother gave her copies of the four books and she began reading the first and second book and became too addicted.
She finished the first two books and she will start the thrid one anytime this week.

I have read the books and I know the first book is much better than the first movie. Still I enjoyed the movie anyway.
There have been times when a trailer makes me really want to see a movie that I would normally not think I would want to go see and it ends up being a great movie. There are also times when a trailer makes a movie look really good and it ends up being a waste of money to go see it.

I'm not a fan of Twilight, I think the first movie is a decent one, and out of curiousity I read the books, and it looks almost completely the same like the movie. I'd rather save my money to download the movie later and don't read the second novel. Watch True Blood series if you want a vampire movie which has depth and quality.
