Tomorrow Will be My Last Day In My Job!!!

The only savings that I have now is my earnings online and to be honest that earnings will not save me for one week, so it is really small. I have lots of bills to settle. I do not know what to do as of this moment. Christmas is past approaching. I will start looking for another job by monday.

oh..that's tough...

it's not that easy to find jobs..especially this season..

companies tend not holf off hiring when christams is apporaching...i dont know why they do that.

maybe you could apply for a quick loan, just to hav something for the meantime..and make sure you spend your money wisely..

relatives could maybe help too.

I think i cannot expect any help from them. They also need help. Quick loans here in our place is not applicable.they are giving big rates which is not fair to the borrower. yes, you are correct that when Christmas is past approaching, very few company hires. the company promise that they will take good care of us but if they will not able to find a new account for us, we will just be given by the separating pay. how sad. i have work very hard.

oh..that's really tough,,,i cant imagine how to deal with it if i were inyour place.im a single mom and im working alone for my son..and helping my mom and sister on the process.if i lose my job we all starve...

what can you do aside from doing PTP/forums? are you good in writing articles?

I am very glad that filipinos are really very supportive when situation like this happened, I am really thankful for your support. I am a member of some review sites in the internet. If I would have some amount, I am planning to invest in some legitimate sites in the internet. I hope I will not experience any scams. My family needs me so I have to look for a new job sooner or later.

That's really very sad and disappointing to lose a job especially at these very hard times. Anyway, just look at the brighter side of it, "if one door closes, many windows will open". .. . I'm sure, with the experience and track record you have, you will soon get a new and better paying job.

it just made me stop and think about how lucky i am...soemtimes I complain that my job is stressfull and i am always deprived of sleep...

but when i think of losing my job... no way.. id rather be deprived of sleep.i want to kepe my job

I can really see that there is a politics in our company, we are divided in the different groups, and each group has its own supervisor. Lucky for those other employees because they were able to depend their subordinates. I did not see any effort from my supervisor to defend me from our operations manager. Actually, my supervisor is also included in the list of the supervisor who will be out of the company, maybe that is the reason behind of the not depending me.I am really sad and disappointed, it is not easy to find a new job as of this moment.

Good for him. With us, we are only given one month. If we will not be endorse in other account, we will be given a separation pay, and that's all. it is really hard to accept in my part coz i know to myself that I have performed. i have been part of the top performers of the year. I do not know how to move on in this kind of situation.

My dad is in same situation of you he will probably will be fire next month. It's really sad but companies don't have a heart to undertand human feelings. Hope you find something to do for the next months, not neccesary a new job

thanks for the motivation. it is just hard to accept for myself to be part of the said ramp down because i know to myself that i have performed.can you imagine an employee without no late and no absences for the past 1 year and 4 months and will be remove to the company? An employee belonging to the top 5 performers of the company?How will you move on in that case? It is really depressing right?I am so sorry to say this, I am just very sad to what has had happened.

Anyway, going back, even though I am good, it is not easy to look for a job during this time because of recession and christmas is past approaching as well. That is why I always love posting discussions about the problem that i am experiencing in my daily life. All the members her are very helpful in all the members problem. They always provide quality advices. I will have all the information that you have provided be noted. I really hope that sooner or later, i will get my new job.

I am not actually terminated, the account has just need to lessen the number of employees, we are regular regular employees so the company cannot remove us in the position. they will be looking for another job for us in other sites or other branches, if they will not be able to find any account for us, they will just pay us with the separation pay. It is really sad because Christmas is past approaching. It is really hard to look for another job. I am getting tired because I have to start all over again.

The most important thing is that get your testimonial before you leave your company tomorrow. "I am waiting for their explanation about it, but haven't receive any feedback from them. I am looking forward for a new job in the next coming days but I know it will not be very easy. I have a lot of adjustments to make. New friends, new products and new learnings.

I am so honored having a response from the pioneer members of this site. I am actually upset the decision of the company. Since I started with the company, I have given all the best that i can to keep my good status in the company. then this time, when they will have to lessen the number of employees, they will include my name, even though i gave them a good performance. It is really unfair.I can't control myself to be disappointed because i know to myself that i have really performed.
