Are you the black sheep in your family?

Well, my answer is no I am not a black sheep in the family. I am considered the white sheep, the favored, the favorite, the precious. I believe that there is no black sheep in the family, just the color I guess. I am their favorite to send for errands. I am their favorite to send and fetch water in the brooks. I am their favorite to send and give gifts whenever there is an occasion. I am their favorite to pay for the bills. I am my parents favorite to work, and work hard.

Hello Jugs. Well, I guess so. Everybody says I am the black sheep. I try to be nice to everybody. I help them in the ways I can. I take care of evrything in the house as best i can. Still, they call me black sheep. I don't quite know why. May be they think that they are all better than me! Ha ha! It's ok. I will let them think what they like to think.

My ex-husband was the black sheep in his family and I have to say that he earned that title. In his father's eyes my children and I were also black sheep and got treated as such. In my own family growing up, I'd have to say that my brother and I took turns sharing that title. In my opinion...he earned the trophy.

I'm not sure if they actually think of me as the black sheep but I am the oddball of the family. I am nothing like alot of my family. I am mainly by myself because of it also.

No one has ever told me I was the black sheep of the family so I would have to say I am not. I am not sure who is consider the black sheep of the our family. I tired not to say things against people in my family and do not listen to the gossip of someone else.

Black Sheep? I have heard of the phrase for the first time.

I am not sure whether I am a black sheep in my family or not. You know, I am the only son of my father and my parents have paid much attention to my daily life. Then, I have to try my best to not let them down. From this point of view, it seems that I am not a black sheep. haw-haw!

I think I am now in my family since I've made a few mistakes and it was nothing that you couldn't learn from, nothing criminal though. I just made a few bad choices with things in my life and most of my family lives on it forever and I hate it. My mom says shes proud of me but I don't know. Sometimes it doesn't seem like it and since I don't know my dad and never have than he doesn't have an opinion in the matter. I feel like I am to his family though since I didn't meet them until I was 15 years old.

I try not to let my family down and show them I'm trying to figure things out in my life and make it better but sometimes I feel like giving up because I feel as if it's getting me nowhere and I hate that.

I guess I can consider myself to be the black sheep of the family now. I used to be the most favored one, until I got married against my parents wishes, to a man not of the same race as ours. I don't know when my parents will ever truly accept us but then I feel like it is my life and I have the right to decide to whom I will get married to. In a similar manner, my sibling's kids are currently more favored compared to my kids.

I think that I am a white sheep and the rest of my family are black sheep because quite frankly they are all a tad strange. My family is very dysfunctional and not quite like everybody else. I have a sister who is relatively ‘normal’ like me and I thank God I have her because no one would ever believe how weird my parents are!

hi jugsjugs I am and always was the black sheep in my family of origin. Simply as I am not the family person type who will forsake her own wants and needs only cause of what the family wants or demands. I have always found these family times boring when the extended family, uncle aunt and two cousins came to our house on Sundays, and I was relieved when they were gone again.
Now I have moved to another town with a 3,5 hour distance to drive or go by train and am much happier cause I see them now and then and thats it basically. I dont feel I still have to measure up to their likes and dislikes and I can live my own life as I want.
I dont care anymore whether I am labeled as the black sheep there or not. Its my life and I live it the way I think its right.
