Well I went to the clinic to get a physical, still have more to do there but after that I will be able to watch videos for the job and then go to work! I am so happy to finally be on the track of starting to work! We wanted for me to get the job before thanksgiving but as long as it's before Christmas, that's fine too. Heck as long as I get the job! lol!

I work in the tourist season managing a very up market villa for the rich and famous. I train the staff and see that everything goes like clockwork for our visitors. I also arrange what they want to do and meet all their demands. The owners are wonderful to me and I only wish that it was a full time job. It is demanding but helps me a lot financially - especially as I have 2 children out of work!

I was lucky enough to be offered the job at a moment of desperation when my daughter had been accepted into university. It really helped to get her through university. The owners are wonderful people and they have treated me so well so of course, I do my best for them. We have had many leaders of government from different nations, rock stars, politicians, musicians and film stars. The worse people are those who have just recently made money - the others are great. The nocest and most considerate film star was Will Smith. A total gentleman. Al Pacino was great too. Can't talk about the recent guests at all. Not allowed to.

No, he had no objection to my taking it as a vacation day. I had saved some days as my son will be here at Christmas and I wanted to spend a few days with him. I wouldn't risk my job. Out here, funerals are big things and time is usually given to someone who needs to attend a funeral. Even a few hours to attend the Church service is given if you do not need to attend the graveside ceremony. It is quite normal for 300 - 1000 people to attend a funeral. Respect is given to the family and this is considered very important. This is about the third or fourth time in ten years that I have asked for time off to go to a funeral. If a funeral is at my church then I just bring clothes to change into and slip out for an hour and make up the time. My Church is just five minuts away. He is just being difficult

I understand Book. He did not mind my going as long as it was a vacation day. And that is unusual out here. Normally you can just take the time. I told him that this person was known to me from I was 18 years old. Anyway, he jet setted out today to somewhere. I could have gone wihtout telling him but that is not my style.
