oh Rhea my husband used to do that, and turn the air almost
blue,it sounded so funny coming from him, as he was ordinarily
'a pretty mild mannered man. I mean he was not going to actually
confront the driver but he sure did talk the talk,He never
gave anyone the finger though. thank goodness for that. On our Ca freeways it can be really dangerous for a driver to do that,as some take umbrage and actually chase that driver clear off the
freeway, and often they have a gun. My son is like you about the computer, he always tells me dont waste your energy mom. Of course he is right too, darn it.

Another way to illustrate the vindictiveness of the computer is in the quality of typing. I can type a paragraph with correct spelling, spacing and punctuation...and if I've been calling the computer names, it will mess it up when I post it. Drop a few letters, jumble others up and take out spaces. Surely it's no ME doing all those mistakes...

hi catldla1 yes its that darned computer. and some of the errors it does cause when you just called it a bad name, for example I wanted to say if I had been yelled at for tapping my child on the hand as many times as I have done, I would be deaf by now, but the computer went one better,it wrote I would be dead by now. okay so I added a comment to make sure the reader understood I meant deaf, not dead.

There's an old saying that I think applies here.
"To err is human. To really screw up requires a computer."Makes a lot of sense, doesn't it?

I never yell AT my computer but I sure look for updates.
However. I find myLot connection incredibly slow at times and that can be frustrating when you have limited time.. it is just soo.. lots of people on the server(s).

yes its always when I am on mylot too, and I am
wanting to get things done quickly but then there

there like me. What gets me is when for no reason

to my emial, and I am yelling you stupid machine
why did you do that? My roommate looks over at me
and says, is your machine not acting right? duh!

nice and well behaved, but when I hit the wrong key or hit
the space bar too many times then I do lose my temper.
my son laughs at me, and it is sort of funny.

Yeah I get mad at the mouse at work sometime because it has side buttons and sometime I bump it accidentally and it takes my page back.
