How many shops do you visit to buy food?

I go to at least 2 but sometimes 4 depending on the items on sale. I don't know if you get supermarket ads but I do weekly. I circle the items we consume that are on sale, if I have coupons the coupon is doubled so I get twice as much off (up to a $1). I have gone to a supermarket just to get 5 2liter bottles of brand name soda because they came out to be 80cents each a couple weeks ago. I never go to that supermarket unless the sale is worth it. One supermarket doesn't have sale items, everything is cheap at Aldi, that's a German store and very inexpensive. That one is a regular for me.

Well,I live in the center of my town and all the shops and markets are at a walkable distance.So,I have the easiness to select every store for every needs.Some shops have all the items and they give things at cheaper rate and some stores have things of recent dates.Depending on the items,I choose the shops.Cheers!

We generally go to two shops but sometimes 3....I actually miss having a store nearby that I could walk to..Sometimes that would be so much easier..

I shop sales so I often end up going to about 4 different stores! I am lucky that each is about 20 mins away. 3 of them are on one road and the 4th is jsut a few roads from the others.

It depends what I need,and at what time of the day..there's a minimart in a garage within walking distance in my village,but it closes around 8pm(I work mostly evenings)..there's more of a selection in a neighbouring town a couple of minutes away which I'd usually cycle to,or if really lazy,or have a lot to carry,I'll bring the car..then there's 24 hour large supermarkets in the main county town 10 miles away,but I'd travel the same road there as my commute to work,so I'll do a late night shop maybe once a week after work,saving me part of the round trip the shopping trip would take going from home..so that's about 3 places I'd go sort of regularly,but of course there are others available around those,depending on the time of day..so long as I can walk,ride or drive there,there's no problem doing the shopping-if I was limited to public transport where I live,I'd be in trouble..there's maybe one bus out of here in the morning,and another back in the evening,so,maybe good if you had the day free to go out,but not so good to arrange around work or anything in the daytime!

For food shopping I usually go to nearby supermarket.I do so to avoid traffic jam. To buy other necessary things I go to distance markets. I usually go those places once or twice a month. I feel uneasy to go to market. In this regard my wife is expert. I think ladies are efficient in marketing.

I have two mayor supermarkets at walking distance and two others not so big where I can also walk to get food. I usually go in my car though because I have shoulder problems and it hurts me to carry too much weight.
I usually go to the same one, a big one, because I know there where everything is and I can get it easily. If I go there on Tuesday or Saturday, there´s also a farmer´s market nearby and I can buy fresh fruit and veggies at better prices than at the super.
My supermarket is also on a mall so if I need other things, I can shop there too. Today I´ll take my mom to that super. She invited me for lunch there and I have to buy a book to paint for Vicente, my grandson. I owe him half of his birthday present and he doesn´t forget.

I am surrounded by supermarkets. Within a 2 mile radius I have 5 choices. Within a 10 mile radius, I have 2 great health food markets. We also have a large supermarket in China Town, a Phillipino market, and an Indian market. For the meat eaters, there is a market that specializes in meat, and another that deals only with seafood. Then there is Farmers Market for fruits and vegetables. Most of what I want is from the health food store or the 5 markets nearby.

I visit almost 2 shops in a shopping mall to buy food usually in the frozen meat section, vegetables and in the fruits section. I make sure to get the new supply before it comes empty on the shelves. Then, if i am not too busy and like to spend on a budget i often visit the open markets where fresh vegetables and fruits arrive could buy them in a much lower prices compare to the shopping mall then i also browse the meat and fish section. I bought their my 1 week supply and thus I never run out of food in my fridge.

hi maximax8 I used to shop when I could shop for food, at Vons as I had a Vons card and it saved me a bundle on all my food
costs. It was easy as I just called an "Access cab and went to Vons, they picked me up in an hour and took me home with my sacks. very easy and convenient.
