How would you feel if you overhear the person you love say this...

its a good complimemt from our love one...and its a sweet and beautiful words that made women feel special from there man.....

that is a very tough question. of course, i would be distraught if he didn't think i was the most beautiful woman in the world. he tells me that i am all the time, so to hear him tell someone else he didn't think so would hurt alot. but i would like the fact that he didn't think i was all that beautiful but he "loved me anyway"...

it's odd because, i KNOW i'm not the most beautiful girl in the world, country, city, town, whatever. i don't really see myself as very beautiful, but when HE says it.. i feel like there is nobody in the world who looks better than i do.. purely because of the way he says it so sincerely....

i'd be completely heartbroken if he admitted to someone that he thought there were people more beautiful than me. i would never ever say anyone looks better than him, because he really is my world. my confidence would shatter, my self esteem would plummet way down... ugh. i hope it never happens, to put it simply.

Hello laydee! If ever my husband would say that I don't know how to react. I would be sad I guess. But it would serve as his way or proving that he really loves me maybe. But I believe that when you love someone, he/she would be the most beautiful person in the world.

I have some insecurities and I sometimes told my husband that how come he loves me when he's very adorable and I'm ugly but he reacted to me by saying "are you kidding me? YOU are the most beautiful woman in the world!"

i'd lose my temper and ask him why the hell he was with me then,coz when you love someone then they should be the most beautiful person in the world

Ouch! I don't know which would hurt me the most - the fact that he didn't think I was beautiful, or the fact that he felt the need to tell this to other people. I don't think outside beauty is the be all to end all, but I would expect someone who professed to love me to also consider me beautiful in other ways - like my heart, my spirit, etc.

If I overheard that comment from a beloved, I would be terribly hurt and would demand an explanation. But, that's just me, and what do I know really? I am, after all, single - lol

Well, what you wrote here is just a fragment of reality. So, without knowing the whole, I feel your sentence like ' I have higher beauty standards but I accept the situation as it is because I love her '. In more words it could be like this: ' we know each other for so long that we both understood form is not important and not eternal; we love each other so much and we both understood how important and what love is, that we can afford little jokes like this' - the fact that sentence is repeated over and over is the indicator of the mindset, considering it as a joke, a game- Now, supposing the love is true and bilateral the only 'wrong' thing could be 'we'. He is probably only assuming that the other one consider it as a joke as well, but in time, he (his mind) will become convinced ( without his will ). On the other side, she wouldn't feel as happy because of her ego, so this feeling should totally be ignored. Also, the malicious ego is saying this: 'The body I am using may not be of a beauty queen but supposedly the person who loves us would see it as a beauty queen' . Who gave this law? Did she ask him before marriage about this? Is there any contract about this? We just THINK that is 'supposed'... supposed by who... who set this rule in the past and made it so important that it became 'supposed'? Nobody. It's programing! We learned it from others not from the other part in the 'contract'. Our ego loves to lie himself in order to be satisfied and problem free.

So... let's compare the wrongs now between he and she...However, I guess the match can be declared draw. Solution: a nice clarifying chat between he and she. Without judgment and egocentrism. Surrounded by love and understanding. It could be fun. And it will bring a new feeling of togetherness... and even more love.

i would be the happiest woman in the all world!!!... i do not need to be known as beatifull i just want my man loves me for who I am. I had very bad experience in my past, they thought i was a very pretty girl, but when i need them by my side they were not because it was not love. i love my self for who I am,not for the way i look, i`d love someone who loves me for the same reason, and when u are able to love a person that it`s not perfect in any way, and u still love their good and bad thing... well... that`s real love.

i may not happy either,as a saying says:beauty in the eyes of the beholder,so i think i'm the most beautiful girl in his eyes, and at the same time he'll be the most handsome boy in my eyes.

I think it doesn't matters, looks isn't everything, as long our love one loves us, then there's no problem, because with loves will come compassion and compassion leads to acceptance, that's what i experience.
