Well I prefer the Death of Chatterton to Greek statues, rather off putting after a while when so many places carry tacky plaste of paris ones for the tourists to take home.

Kind of like the tacky mini Eiffel towers that you get in Paris.:-)

It always reminded me of Heathcliff up in his attic with the shutters banging against the walls when the dreams hit. And no EOE I am not obsessed with dead bodies, my second favourite painting ever 'Isabella and the Pot of Basil' from the Keats poem does not even feature a body, and unless one was in the no no one would know that the pot contained her dead lovers head.

I looked at he painting online. At first I thought that it was romanticizing suicide. Open window - soul going back to heaven etc. The colours must be magnificent. I am intrigued and would love to see a good print of it.

I'm having a tough time deciding, as you can tell, so I have acquired quite the speed in changing the avatar.

You could just have Robert Maxwell as YOUR avatar. Then I'd be surrounded by him. One of my favourite friends here who is missing at the moment has Dean Martin as his avatar, I call it my swoon avatar.

We've really got to do something about that green thing hanging over you lina, perhaps an avatar of a famous and georgous person could be the answer. You could change it to Goran Visinjc. Or if you insist on being female you could go with Nigella Lawson, everyone loves her.

I am working hard for a color change, but I'm not sure another avatar change will help me...maybe Dawn's aliens will? I'll check to see if I can locate the avatar for Nigella Lawson, she's quite attractive and frugal, doesn't want to leave anything, money-wise for her kids right?

I needed that, a little shameless self promotion, but I have an idea to share so if the idea grabs another person's curiosity I'm here with answers to any questions about how I did what I did and how they can do it too!

Let's start with what you did before we get into how you did what you did...

What I did was create this post of links which link all my posts that I created, now I've had to recreate that post because the site that I started this project on was moved to another URL... I took the concept of my work and posted it on blogger changing all the URL's to the ones that Blogger provides completely recreating the work all over again...

The key was that I saved all of the posts from the first web site in order so that I could reproduce the work all over again... The nice thing is that Blogger was bought by Google and is a very stable web site to host a blog of material that can be accessed as an archive where all of my work that I deem important enough to be pointed to through a hyperlink can be accessed...

Imagine if I captured everything that I've ever written to the internet?

Archives full of material... Lots of thoughts...
