Do you cook your toast in a toaster or under the grill?

used a toaster as I did not have a grill. I loved
toast too. I made my grilled cheese sandwiches by frying
them on each side to a golden brown. they were nice and
'gooey inside.

Having said that, my client wants it already buttered and that means putting it under a grill - or in her case, a toaster oven.

A toaster is the best gadget to do the toasting job. I love toasts actually. I'd toast wholewheat bread slices each morning for our breakfast and I so enjoy topping them up with different homemade spreads. O course also with my favorite vegetable salad and mango juice on the side! Hmmm I feel my stomach wants to eat now!

I like Bread early in morning when i have my breakfast and i like my toasts toasted in the toaster and i like them to apply on both sides one side Mixed fruit jam and other side butter and a cup of tea/milk along with a nicely made omellete makes my break fast perfect.

I use the toaster. I have never tried a grill. I have tried a toaster oven, but don't care for that either. I just cannot get it right. One side is always done too much.

I normally used either the oven or the toaster to make toast. To me, the toast comes out so much more crispier and yummy in the oven!!! Since our toaster isn't working at the moment, I have to used the over more frequently!

Well I used to toast my bread in a toaster. I eat a lot of toast. Several months ago I moved across country and sold most of my stuff which included my toaster. When reaching my new apartment my brother gave me a George Forman grill. I have been using it for grilled sandwiches and toasting bread and it works great.

I have always cooked my bread in the toaster when I want toast. I have always wanted a toaster oven but just never went and got one, i think it would be nice in situations like you mention when you put cheese on the top of it. I love having toast with strawberry jam on the top of it therefore I will use a regular toaster almost all the time.

I threw the toaster away when we got our NuWave countertop infrared/convection oven. Mmmmm, cheese on toast.

I only use a toaster for my toast because I don't have a toaster oven. If I'm going to have a grill cheese I make it in a frying pan. I have had toaster ovens in the past and I really don't like them because they are so hard to keep clean. A plain toaster is good enough for me. As for a grill I only have an outdoor grill.
