Are you keen to get a new laptop?

Hi maximax8.
Well, of course I always keen to have a new laptop every time I to go computer shop.
When I look at the new laptop that have been released I will dream to get ones.
But, if I want to get the new one I need to sell the old one first.
Even I have done this a few times, but its hard to find the buyer that really want to buy second hand laptop.
Well, my laptop now also used window 7 and have a good graphics card.

my laptop is only 3 months old. well alredy one of the key is not responding untill i hit it really hard. i am running windows xp. i tried vista and windows 7 but for me xp is more comfortable. well the computer was actually bundled with a linux. so its pretty tough for me to find the right drivers each time i format the computer. so i downloaded a windows xp performence edition which would install in about 10 mnts

I've had mine for two years now. It's still running good and so far, I haven't experienced any problems that I wasn't able to fix. I really love this laptop. Mine is Dell XPS M1210 and it's running on Windows XP. Since I don't have any complains about it so far, I haven't thought of buying a new one. It's just not practical since laptops are quite expensive. I've wanted a Notebook though since it is more convenient to bring around.

hello max.. i first bought a laptop last 2004. it was a compaq presario 9000.. i actually forgot the model. it runs on windows xp home edition. and it keeps having viruses that i have it reformat for so many times(i didnt know it was that easy to reinstall the OS not until i got involved with dell..)

anyway, right now.. im running acer aspire and sony vias.. both have windows vista home basic.. but i really wanna upgrade to windows 7 however i am not sure if i meet the minimum requirements.. although i know how to upgrade, i am afraid that windows 7 might not run on both laptops.. and since i dont have the OS cd if in case windows 7 wont run..

if you meet the ff requirements required for windows 7, you can just actually upgrade your windows vista to 7.. you may download the trial version or better yet buy a cd so you can have the licensed OS or for future purposes too.. and check the hardware/software of your keyboard too.. the driver might need reinstalling too..

This is what i dreaming since I joined mylot but until now still hanging. LOL. I got some funds for this but sad to say something happened, instead of having a laptop i bought another stuff. I stick to my deskstop and lately i am far away from home so i can no longer be active posting here in my lot. Hope time comes i have an excess money for my soon laptop.

Mine is 3 years old. Or half a year less... it was bought for my sister and I acquired it only this July. It had Vista till I got it. Now I run XP on it, and Windows 7 keeps getting in and out as other OS.
Well I'm not keen on Windows 7, XP is fine till now but my laptop is a problem in itself. Its battery is counting days, charger is broken and audio buttons don't work. Why I still keep it is because my beloved sister gave it to me, besides I'm low at funds So no escape!

I don´t have a laptop. I have a big computer in a desk. Laptops are not for me as i like a big keyboard (white or ivory with black letters so I can read well).
I think my software is outdated but I will solve that problem as soon as I have the money.

I would love to get a new laptop,as mine runs too slow as well as it turns itself off.At the moment i am trying to get ahead off all my bills so that i do not have to worry.I am thinking of treating myself to one for christmas as that way i will have more chance as well as time to come on here.

I've yet to invest in a laptop or notebook or netbook machine..I've been put off them so far as I haven't heard great things as yet about how long they can stay away from being plugged in! If I was travelling,taking for example my last trip to the US,I'd like one to be up and running for the bus Journey to the airport (Say 2 hours) then once I got checked in with say at least 2 more hours to kill waiting for the boarding call,then once on the plane for the 7 hour flight,say 4 hours of use allowing for having it turned off for t/o and landing,and maybe an in flight movie I'd want to watch..I don't think there's many laptops with a 9 hour battery life! Would also depend on what I'd be using it for..around the house,I'd have the wireless hub..out and about,I'd rarely need a computer,as I'd be driving,and I seldom visit wifi enabled burger chains or bar franchises to have a need for a computer along..Do You use yours for work or some productive use,or like me,just websurfing?

I've had mine about 3 months, its running Windows Vista and I must say I like Vista. I'd like to get Windows 7, but only because its newer, because I don't have problems with Vista. As far as problems, I did have a virus, but that wasn't the hardware fault, it was my antivirus program. I really don't want a new laptop, I love my current one.
