Do you eat avacados?

Avocados here on our place are seasonal so we buy avocados when it is it's season^^V so yeah and like what you have said it is good vitamins source too=)

I haven't had an avocado since before I stopped eating Mexican food. My husband isn't a fan. I believe avocado is in guacamole dip? I'm not sure... But No, I haven't eaten avocado in awhile, I didn't realize it had such great health benefits. I usually check health benefits on whfoods.com, you could check that site to see if it has tips on how to keep the fruit fresh, it may even say when it's in season.

I know also that avacados are really healthy, but i must admit i just dont like them:/

My husband loves them and eats them about once a week. I don't like whole avacodos that much but I do like a little guacamole sometimes. I have also had salads with bits of avacodo in them that were very nice. But I don't eat them that often. But I would be willing to try more things that have avacodo in them.

I eat them when they come with meals that I order and especially in guacamole, but I don't buy them. Probably should, but I don't...

as i've red in an article avocados are often called one of nature's perfect foods because they are said to contain everything a person needs to survive. avocados are also a good food for babies because it is sodium and cholesterol free.

I adore avocados and we have several trees. They are seasonal out here. I have never froze them but keep them covered in the fridge. Slices with tomatoes etc are so good in a sandwich too. If it does go mushy then please do not throw away as it is great for your face. Mash it up and add some oatmeal or cornmeal and then lie down with a towel under your head and let it do its work for 15 -20 mins. Wash off with warm water and feel just how soft your face is.

A good salad is cut up avocado with tomatoes and onions and add a spoonful of some kind of pickles and eat it with low fat bread or crackers or stuff a pita bread with it. Very healthy lunch. A wonderful food. do not eat until ripe. If yo want to riopen it quicj=kly then put it in a brown paper bag with a banana. The natural gas from the banana will ripen the pear. So good - I habve a few at home that I am ripening.

Hi katsmeowÇ: thanks for your post. I love avocados too, well i'm not sure how often do i eat avocados but i think i probably eat them twice a week thanks to my mom that takes care of the family. I love to eat them with my salad, i would said that specially with salad but it's usual that here where i live, we eat them with beans, rice, eggs, meat and beans and it's simply delicious.
