Well what I believe is the parents should seperate the boy and the girl.Try to throw in some common sense into the girl and make her study and hang out with friends like other normal children do.The baby should be looked after by some relative of theirs even the grand parents wold do.And when she crosses at least 20 give her right to decide on what she wants to do with her life...

It looks like this Bulgarian girl may be the youngest to give birth in the world. There was supposedly a 5-year-old girl in Peru who gave birth to a baby boy, way back in 1939, but I'm not sure they've ever verified that story.

Yeah... Parents are the bigest point here beside that baby is not a toy! Trully this is a sad story but not the worse. I ever heard a teen have a baby from her father!!!

i was only just 21 when i had my son. my father in-law would say a baby having a baby. refering to the fact i was really not that old, and these days kids don't have to grown up as fast as they did yrs ago.

Need to renew the marriage regulation in that country. Also it's individual thinking and awareness to give and have baby.

It is a sad new and shocking to me because at her age she is not ready to have a child. Why they allowing young girls to be married there here future going to be ruined. They are not yet ready to be a parents and they don't know how to raise a child.

her teenager husband is 19 years old. i was shocked reading this news too especially when she said that the baby would be her new toy & she is not going back to school.

i could not understand too, but sadly enough, that's what actually happened.

Being the yougest person to give birth is nothing to be proud of but what I am wodering is why did the parents get them to be married? surely it is against the law to do that? and its darn right that he should go to jail and six years is not enough.

that's true, it would be extremely difficult to raise a child at 11. also, they must start to learn parenting skills from now.

i believe the grandparents would take care of the child & the mother would have to learn the parenting skills at the same time. i don't think the grandparents will let the mother to take care the baby by her own.

Apparently marrying at such a young age is the custom in Bulgaria. I've read several articles now that have said that it's common for young teenagers to get married and become mothers there. It looks like 14-17 years old is standard... I can't imagine any girl being prepared for that at such an age!

i am shoked at this matter, how can a 11-year-old girl give birth to a baby? the gorl's mother should responable for the little baby i think . that's a social problem, the child are early-matruing!!!

it's horrible. these young people are being robbed of their teen years which is a time of growing and learning.

but we also seem to be forgetting that it's not that long ago really, that once you were 16 (when ever they had the coming out balls back in the 1800's) you were basically on the market for a husband. so it may have not been long after that that you had kids. but it show how much some countries have changed and other haven't.

You do have a point but even back then and especially back then, it was very very rare for a girl to even reach puberty by age 11. Most girls even in my mothers time did not begin puberty until 13 to 15. Even in this day and age there is a huge difference between the age of 11 and 16.

yes this is really a terrible, being a mom is a great responsibility so as being a wife. i wonder how can she be resposible for being a mother and a wife. i do hope her husband would be support her and their baby.
