Today I am playing "catch up"! LOL

Today I am going to spend catching up on a few things and finishing projects. I have my cards to finish for a craft sale....resolve my old discussions....finish cleaning the basement....so I am going to catch up on a few things. Do you have things you have left and need to "catch up" on?

Ironing? 
What's that?
I had a girl friend who refused to do ironing unless she had a glass of Brandy beside her. I do not iron at all. If something is wrinkled then I shove it into the dryer with a damp tea towel for three minutes. I do have a lady who comes once a week to do a deep clean of my little house and she does any ironing that I may need done. Nah! Too old to do ironing again as I had to do it as young as 8 years old - my mother did not like to iron so I had to do it. Thank God I am grown up!

Unfortuantely I don't have a lady 'what does' but I wish I did, and a tumble dryer would just add excess mouxla to the house and I loathe the stuff. I was mainly trying to iron out the wet to dry Sundays washing quicker, yes it really is that cold, as all my sons long sleeved tops had run out.
It was a tedious beyond belief task and I only bothered doing half of it.

I have so many things to do in this house I don't know where to begin. Tomorrow I need to get going on the laundry and straighten up around here. Will be gone tonight for the night and won't be home until morning. Get to babysit our little grandbaby tonight, love it. I haven't been doing any crafts lately. Kind of in a hold pattern trying to think of something I can make next. I could use a few things around the house for just me but need to do some measuring and searching for yarn. Also have some photos that need to be put in frames and get on the walls.

I did pretty good today but got sidetracked so will have to hit it tomorrow hard...I need to finish up some thing for the craft sale. Got my cards done and other things but need to get the tub out with my Christmas things.....Have fun babysitting! I had my little granddaughter last friday night.....we made a full night out of it!

i DON'T GUESS THERE IS EVER A TIME WHEN I CAN'T FIND SOMETHING TO DO BUT I TRY TO KEEP EVERYTHING PRETTY MUCH DONE UP.I hate having anything hanging over my head that needs to be done. Hope u catch up w/all your things. That's a good feeling when u do.

Yes, I also have my share of "pending" business, lol. In the homefront, I still need to continue clearing up one room with whatever things we stored there. We need to segregate these things as to whether they qualify to be thrown or to be recycled, or to be given away to relatives. I also have a lot of pieces of cloth
for sewing whatever I see is good for the house. There are a lot of paper works to do in the house, too and filing them appropriately is an ongoing task. And.. we are due to put up Christmas decorations for the house. It's Christmas and we are really excited about it!

I got caught up on our laundry...but it will be piled full again probably by tomorrow. lol That's a never ending thing in our house. I also got my coupons together because one of our stores had triple coupon day so I went and bought groceries. I spent $18 and saved $55 so I was proud of myself. I didn't really catch up on anything else today though. I need to do some more chacha'ing so I can finally cash out and use that money for some christmas gifts.
