what do you love about Christmas? what do you hate?

I have not celebrated christmas in years, I am disabled and I usually just stay home and not do very much

Hate: Christmas being advertised in early October, being made to feel that we have to spend money that we can't afford to spend and having to say yet another pack of socks that I'll never wear is just what I wanted.

Love: Children believing in Father Christmas, Children being excited and seeing their faces when they open their presents, Christmas finishing and everything being back to normal.

Sorry but Christmas has become too commercial, it's in our faces for far too long before the actual day and personally I'd be happy to just celebrate New Year. I wouldn't bother with Christmas if I didn't have kids in the family. Just my thoughts, no offence intended.

I love santa claus very much and the gifts which we get on christams.
Christmas cake is also very tasty.
I do not hate anything.

I love shopping for people which is weird because in regular life I hate shopping. I'm serious. It's like the bane of my existence. I actually have to gear myself up before I can go to the mall. I like Christmas trees, Christmas carols, and Christmas specials. I think I've seen every incarnation of Scrooge (even the ones that weren't so good of which there have been a few). I like going home to see everyone.

I hate the fact that even during the holiday season some people are so self-involved that they don't do anything nice for their fellow man even if they can afford it. As much as I like going home, I absolutely hate my parents bathroom because it's not wheelchair accessible. In my ideal world (which sadly doesn't exist), everyone would just come here to my house to see me. I don't have much furniture so I could fit them all in and go pee comfortably whenever I had to.

I love how Christmas changes people's attitudes. People aren't just more generous, but they are nicer. I wish we could all retain that spirit throughout the year. I love finding creative ways to get or make presents for my family. Not having money just makes me even more determined to do something special. What I hate? All the commercialism on TV! I get sick of the commercials, trying to get people to spend money they don't have, under the guise that it is showing love to family and friends.

Personally, I loved all aspects about Christmas. The freebies, the discounts, the lights, the fabulous decorations, setting the Christmas tree, going to church on the Christmas eve, parties, gifts, etc.etc.

One thing I hated the most is that it would end-up overspending our alloted family budget for the Christmas holidays.

I love the time away from work you get to be with your family and I love the present wrapping giving and receivng of the gifts and it would be more great if it would only snow at least one time during christmas here we hardly ever get any I am so wishing for a white christmas every year i ALSO LIKE THE CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS SHOWS I KNOW IM OLDER NOW BUT I STILL ENJOY THEM THEY ARE GREAT i REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY ON THE CARDS EITHER BESIDES LOVE YA AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!

i grew up beling on santa... and when i was 7 years old i realize he didn`t really exist... but when i was about 13 i start to beive on him again... not like a person... it`s difficult to explain, but i do belive Santa lives in my heart, and in every person who has the spirit... i love that feeling, and also to be in family, with the ones u love... i can not ask for anything else.

Although Christmas brings with it a ton of stress, I myself love seeing the smile it puts on my little girls face. No matter what we are doing, if it involves the holiday she loves. The decorating, wrapping, and especially unwrapping. I love the pictures I get to take and the memories it creates.

Well, what I like about Christmas is that most people are generous. They can give beyond what is expected. And of course, people's face have somewhat changed as they can smile. There are lots of food during christmas which is one of the things I like. Food are plenty in most household starting from December 24 until the new year. I like they atmosphere because people are more positive during the christmas season. I like the fact that one day, there was a day that Jesus Christ need to born on earth, suffer and pay form my sins. Christ is the reason for Christmas. What do you think?
