Have you replied to him? I would tell your boyfriend, this guy has started up contact again not you. I would tell your boyfriend you have had email from him and replied to him that you are with your new boyfriend and have no interest in starting anything with him again. If you love your boyfriend then you should be honest with him, if he gets mad at you point out that this guy contacted you not the other way round and you are just trying to be straight with him. Since you already confirmed that you love each other, your very serious with the relationship and willing to go to the next level(marriage), I find NO reason why you should hide things from him. If you are convinced that your bf is really the man for you it means fallin for this "other guy" is impossible. But wait! check yourself first if you are telling the truth, you must make it clear first which is which between them, so things would not be complicated.

Explain it to your boyfriend that its just FRIENDSHIP and nothing more.Partners must not hide anything from one another.

You can easily tell the other guy that you are taken, and that you are madly in love with the man that you are with, and that you do not wish to see him again. That is your call. You do have a choice. Do you really want to be with your boyfriend? or, Do you want this other guy? Your an adult, you can up your own mind, you do not have to do anything that you do not want to, no one is pressuring you, so what do you want? Hi! Yes, i think you should tell your boyfriend. If this other guy is still interested in you, then the interest will not go away over time, should something happen between you and your boyfriend. It is best to be honest with your boyfriend, and if any repercussions come from your honesty then you and your boyfriends relationsip was not what you thought it was. Both of you have to be able to be honest with each other and you have to trust the other fully, otherwise your relationship will be built on lies, and deceit.

your the one said you and your BF almost breakup coz of him..so for me dnt tell him your BF but never exchange email with the guy, nor talk to him and most of all ignore him....or block him in your ym that he cant get through.....by this nah telling your Bf at the same time ignore the guy you have reason nah too coz your protecting your relationship anyway you ignore the guy so theres no guilt in this unless you still get in touch with the guy thats the reason you felt your hiding from your BF..if nah so dont feel guilty.....

I think thats the real question, If he emailed you well you cant control what someone else does so if you didnt mention it and deleted it and just let it go I dont think it would be an issue. If you answer the email now you have started an entirely dif situation. Even though it is only talk it is a problem, Since you know you have had problems over communicating with him before. I mean just for example your boyfriend goes to a gas station and some girl comes up to him and say wow your a hottie heres my # give me a call! Well if he took the # and called her that would be an issue and you would want to know.
