I have just read na artickle and it said that many women all over the world use this cream to improve and reduce the appearance of crow's-feet and wrinkles. Warm Water washcloth Preparation H or off-brand hemorrhoid cream How to Get Rid of Wrinkles and Crow's-Feet with Preparation H[/b] Step 1 Wash your face in the evening before bed in your usual manner. This is simply to remove the daily dirt buildup and makeup so that you are starting with a clean slate. Step 2 Dab a small amount of Preparation H on any problem areas. Avoid getting too close to the eyes. If you have bags under your eyes, then apply a cool cloth or a slice of cucumber for a few moments before going to sleep. Step 3 Massage the Preparation H cream gently into wrinkled areas. Then work it over the rest of your face to help keep skin taut and firm. This cream has many properties that make it an effective skincare product. From reducing inflammation to shrinking tissue, it can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Step 4 Go to bed and get a good night's sleep after drinking a large glass of water. Each of these steps are as important for good skin as any creams and products you use on your face. Step 5 Repeat this process each night to reduce wrinkles and crow's-feet. Apply Preparation H during the day if needed for photos or an event where you really want your wrinkles to disappear Does anyone know if this is true? I have never heard of it but I looked in a mirror last night and I am getting some wrinkles. Can anyone let me know if they have tried this and does it work? I am not sure whether to believe this or not.

Small problem with this one Cynthiann, the local chemist does not believe in discretion and all purchases are immeditely known around three villges. Now would you like to trot in there and ask for some?

And what makes you think that the chemist up in the Greeks village is any more discreet than the chemist in mine?

Back again Cynthiann, I have news for you. I was with my good friend this morning who used to work in the H/O of a famous chemist chain. She said that a lot of the women did this but it was with another brand. She said that one of the men did it too and the wrinkles around his eyes did go. But you have to be very carefull in case you have a skin reaction. Having added the price x 5 for the usual sale price in Greece, plus the complexity of the chemist scenario, she's almost convinced me to try it if I can get the stuff online. She recommended something from the E45 range I think it was.

I have heard of this but have never tried it. I do know that preph is good to dry up chicken pox. I was told that when my son had them when he was small & it did work. I have used the same moisturiser for years & my mother used it before me so guess i'll stick to that altho the preph would be cheaper. I don't guess anyone gets by w/not having wrinkles. Good luck if u decide to try it.

When I first heard this I thought it was so funny. But such a good idea! I know my mom has thought about using it to eliminate the bags under her eyes. I don't even know if I'd call them bags, she just always has dark circles under eyes that makes her look like she never goes to sleep.

Is two inches away from the eye is too close? I can see myself doing it without getting it into my eye. But you make a good point because I can't see her doing it without getting it into her eye.

No, it mustn't be used close to the eyes.

I think two inches would be okay but not closer and then we would have to wash our hands thoroughly so incase we rubbed our eyes.

I have no idea but I can tell you I will never touch another tube of that crap. I used it for hemmroids one time and honest to God I could have passed cars on the highway in bare feet for the burning I had. I ran a tub of water and got in as fast as I could, well let me tell you I got out twice as fast. I could barely poop or wipe myself for two weeks. Apparently I'm alergic to Preperation H.

No idea. But I did check Snopes and there wasn't anything there on it. Anyway, all I can say is eeeeeeewwwwwww. I know it's just a medicine and it's not *ahem* poopy or anything, but just the idea of where the stuff ends up would stop me from even trying it!

I've heard of it before, and I believe it probably does work. Of course I haven't actually tried it yet, I don't have really obvious wrinkles just yet.

it is good for reducing swelling that I know, so I do not see any reason to not try it. All that counts is the medicine not where you put it

Please find out and let me know. I had a friend who had her eyes tattooed with liner and she said that it hurt unbearably. I wear glasses (like my avi) with transitional lenses so I do not even bother with eye make up now as my eyes are rarely seen.

hi cynthiann I do not know but I do not think I want to find'out as if it shrinks hemorrhoids it might really be too strong fot one';s delicate face tissue.I have heard of this before but never knew anyone who had tried it. I am leery of it myself as my skin is so easily irritated by various chemicals anyway.

I know exactly how you feel and this is why I want to know more about it before trying it. It would be a waste of money as I do not have hemorrhoids

That is new to me, I have heard that it reduces swelling because that is what is used for to reduce the swell or inflamed area. But take away wrinkles now that's a first for me. But you never know until you try it I guess. Good luck with it and let me know if it does any good, I could use a wrinkle remover remedy, lol.

I was go to ask you if you had tried this or not. It all sounds very good and if it does work, Preparation H wouldn't be as expensive as most wrinkle removers are. Thank you for telling us about this. I might want to try this. First of all, I will see what other mylotters think about it. Kathy.

Hi Cynthiann! I can't believe NOBODY has tried this! I've been using the stuff for years, but I've never had piles! (Lol! Fingers crossed!) I didn't know it had an accumulative effect, and reduced wrinkles, but I use it for a night out, when I want my eyes to look fresh. It does reduce wrinkles, but the effect, I always thought, wears off. I usually put some around my eyes, and over the eyelid, in a coating, and leave it for half an hour. It goes kind of clay-like, so then you have to wash it off. You can feel it tingling as it tightens the skin. Then I put on my moisturiser, and eye cream, then get the tiniest little bit of it, and dab it under my eyes again, into the corners in case of crows feet, and a little over the eyelid again. It really works. It tightens the skin, but it is really thick cream, so although I put quite a bit on when I'm leaving it for half an hour to really work its stuff, once I've washed that off but I want to just put a little bit on for further effect, I really do use the tiniest little bit. It's also difficult to make it "disappear" into your skin, so if it's just before you go out, a tiny little bit, then dab it in, so that you don't drag your skin. You know when you see the model photographs, and under their eyes look a little bit lighter in colour? I always think they must have used haemmorhoid cream, because that's kind of the effect you get as well.

Many thanks for this. I am wondering now if it lasts just for the day and if this is why it has to be used nightly. I do not know. You are the first to respons that yOU HAVE USED IT AND SO i WILL TRY IT.I do hope that it is accumulative thought.

I hope so too! If it has an accumulative effect, I'll start using it more often! Lol!

....Hi cythinann, all of this sounds quite interesting. But I would think that someone would get in touch with a dermatologist to find out what he or she knows about using this product on your face. For one thing your face has a different texture than your butt, and what are the long term effects, your face could wind up looking like a raisin in the long run. The place you are supposed to use the stuff on already looks like a raisin, so no harm there. Everybody should be a little careful, wrinkles are not the worst thing in the world. Take care

.....thanks cythinann, that makes me feel better. If you are satisfied with the information, then good luck. Then go buy some stock in the company that makes it, because there will be a whole new market for the product. Take care.

I would love to know if it works too. If it did I would use it providing it’s a brand new tube just for me! (LOL) I have heard that it’s good for broken capillaries too; you know those little purple veins that can occur on the face or the legs? I would really love to know if it works and I will be following this discussion for more info.
