Posting question with no answers, does it means its pointless?

You don't get extra points if someone answers your discussion! they get points for answering your discussion!

There are many reasons that one discussion gets no rsponses at last. For example, if there are no one who have ability to post a response to such a topic, then it is obvious that the discussion can get no response. If most people have no interests in it, then the discussion can be with no answers. If one discussion can get no response at last, it means that you can get no earning at last, but it doesn't mean that your question is poorly constructed. Even if the discussion has no responses, it may be meaning.

Hi Fulltank, it depends mostly depends on what type of question it is. I do find interesting discussions without any responses as well. I know many members here are very smart and are members of other sites as well. I have come across such interesting questions every now and then. I wonder whether they are plagiarized questions from other sites Therefore to avoid the high possibility of being deleted, I refuse to answer them for sure If such questions are written by friends or users whom I'm familiar with, might be I would answer them. I did find discussion with same topic as well as having similar contents but having big difference of responses received. I think the right time of posting an interesting question, good tag word using, interest rank picking, playing important while creating a new question. Happy posting

In my opinion, It may be not a pointless post. In mylot, there many members here. a lot of member will update their mylot,which means your post may not caught by mylot.Or some people may not care about your post. As we post just want too know others ' thought, we may get some dispointed when it really happened. But it doesn't matter, we can still learn something from the post.

I have always received at least an answer, and I also always go through the unanswered questions, but...there's really many of them that are not understandable, meaning they are written in such a bad English...I don't know and don't think it's your problem, but it's common.

Yeah it happens a lot to me.none of mine or only some of my questions are answered.i also notice some crap questions been answered a lot.i just dont know y.may be one of the reason is the structure as you mentioned in the question.I dont know when i will get more than 10 ersponses to my question.i see youve had some response here.happy mylotting.

Hi Fulltank, I'll turn that question around if I may and say it is pointless to post questions and then not to respond to all of the anwers one receives which is an often seen sight on mylot. There is no chance of a discussion developing then. As one interacts with people here then someone will usually come along and answer a discussion if they are familiar with the poser responding to them. Often times many just get tired of responding to the same people who don't comment back which accounts for a lot of discussions which receive no responses.

Sorry that is just what your question reminded me of LOL I guess in my opinion it really depends because in a way I think it would be pointless because the question that you needed answered wasn't so what was the point in even asking but then on the other hand I think it also has to do with it being in the right place at the right time especially with mylot. There are a few different discussions that I have started and haven't had anyone respond to them and although while I though that they were good discussions I don't know if they are not answered because they are poorly titled/constructed or if it just because at the time that I posted no one was on or around to answer it and I never will I just have to deal with no few with no responses...I guess this certain discussion isn't too poorly constructed or titled because you have a few responses on it already

Depends on the question, mate. Some questions are too stupid to answer. (Not referring to yours, I'm just talking about questions in general.) Some require too much effort to answer and nobody really cares enough to answer. Some can't be answered. Some aren't seen by those who can answer it. Some are incoherent and can't even be understood. Some questions are too stupid to answer. I have to say that again, 'cause the internet is just overflowing with stupid questions.

No it is not pointless. I put up questions all the time that get few responses. It is probably because i mostly post at night. Then no one sees them because others post in the morning and bump my questions off. So I will start writing them down and posting them during the day when people are awake. I genuinely like to know what people think or have to say in response.

well to some but others feel that the question has been repeated that is why they get no answers or responses.some though are pointless.make a question that are interesting and do not copy some of the discussion or reword it because still won't get no responses or less responses.
