Do you listen to the same type of music now as you did when you were young?  

Hi ckyera! I like that type of music too. I didn't get to listen to it so much when I was a kid because my grandparents weren't relly into a lot of music and that's who raised me. I guess I was in my teens when I got a radio and started listening to my own thing. Thanks for the response.

yeah, yeah, i also starts listening to those kind of music when i am almost on my teens...or when i already have a crush? hehe
and i guess, some of my aunts influenced me that time...
i remember, i am on grade 4 or 5 when i start to appreciate and even memorize the song 'when you tell me that you love me...' hahahaha

I bet your aunts thought you were a real cutie singing that song so little..lol

I do still have a few favorites from my childhood that I am sad to see not doing much with their music. I think that your right about our tastes being better as we listen to more genres and are itroduced to different things. My b/f is a huge music fan and has really opened me up to some different stuff. Thanks for responding.

He's a musician so he's always playing his guitar. He plays a lot of songs that I have never heard and fell in love with. It is pretty nice.

Good for you for learning japanese! That is a very hard language to learn I hear. It will be awesome when you get to where you can understand the songs. I went to Japan once and I heard some very beautiful melodies but I couldn't understand the words either. The only thing I learned to say was good morning and thank you..lol. no, actually Japanese language is easy to learn, unlike learning Korean , Chinese and Cantonese, there are similar words to learn to but has different meaning. :) hehe~ Japanese people are so creative that's why I stick with them also :)

I like my 80's music too..lol..it does have a way of making us feel young again. I think your right about being able to learn a lot from different genres and it is nice to have a variety of musical choices. I have grown to like a lot of music that I had never heard because of my b/f's musical tastes. I think musicians are especially open to music. Do you and your wife have the same taste in music? I remember you said she used to be a singer.

my wife has a bigger knowledge with music than i am. she used to sing a little of everything from the 50's up to the present for until now she never stop learning. when we are just still dating she knows songs that i never heard of. then she will laugh at me, but understand why i dont know because for her she thinks for me jazz is boring. har har har. but now i have knowledge of those music. har har har. i am not bored with jazz, but when i met her we dont play jazz. so i dont have knowledge about it.

Good morning to you too my sweet friend! Things are gearing up for Thanbksgiving and I am seeing a bit of travel in my future for it..lol..I don't know if I'm looking forward to that or not but we'll see.
Music has been such a huge part of your life and I would say that you were lucky enough to get the taste for your future when you were young. I have kind of went with the flow too. I guess with a teen in the house and a musician running around with a guitar, you can tend to open up a lot to new music..lol..I do enjoy the oldies but goodies for my preference too. Thanks for the response.
