I put ours up on Friday, this is really early for me, but I needed some Christmas cheer that day. This year i did it in gold, silver and blue, it's just a little tree so I can change things around for about $4 if I see something I like in the store.

Not yet but I have been thinking about it since I got up this morning..lol..I guess I will probably put it up today when my oldest daughter gets home from her friend's house. They love to decorate it because I have every decoration that they have ever made in school or at home for them to put on..lol..they actually enjoy going through them and remembering where and when they made them all.

The first ornament my daughter wanted was the one she made in Kindergarden. She had a special spot for it at the top of the tree. It is great to look at all the ornaments and remember Christmas's past.

You are so lucky. I usually put up my tree the first day I have off after Thanksgiving. My daughter and I make cocoa and just make a night of decorating. I do this because I love the season but by the time Christmas is over....I'm ready to take it all down. I love the build up to the holiday. The lights, the tree, the decorations all help put us in the mood to do baking and crafts together. Well this year, I can not put up my tree and things as I want to. Why? because the maintainance people are coming into my apartment to insulate and weatherize etc. I have to move all my furniture in both the kitchen and living room to the center of the room and cover them with old sheets. This could last for days. I am so so not looking forward to this huge mess. I know it is all for the good but ..

Truly that christmas tree is one of the symbol that Christmas season is coming. And most of us decorate that tree inside or out of our house.I never do that because i don't have enough time to put some decorations and to buy for that tree. Or even any of the signs of christmas here in my home. I am close catholic and we believe. But the time I spending on putting on decoration is nothing or lack of time to do some extra. During this season we are all busy preparing for christmas carol songs almost every night of practice. We sing as choir in our church. So we really are busy. But even I don't have any decorations in our home we feel the happy essence of Christmas. And that is the most important part in me. Have a happy day!

We are not going to have a tree in here because we are not going to be here for Christmas, we have a cat, so if we had a tree he'd destroy it, and our place is way too small to have a Christmas tree. There will probably be one at the hotel we'll go to on Christmas day, though. LOL

No. It is still too early for me. I wait until about the middle of December.

I have a mini Christmas tree up. It was one I bought last year already decorated and it has it decorated with OSU decorations. Our family doesn't put a big tree up due to space limitations (our house is pretty small), plus we're all grown up as a family so I guess they don't feel like trying to put up a tree. However, lately, it's been my tradition to use the OSU Christmas tree.
Cheers!

No, I don't have my tree up yet, I'm lucky if I get it up a couple weeks before Christmas, then it takes me a long time to take it down..lol. I did tell my husband yesterday that I was getting in the mood for Christmas and not to be surprised if I start putting the lights up. I love this time of year tho, Christmas is just in the air.

I am not a Christian but a Hindu, so i do not celebrate Christmas. However since i was educated in a convent school i feel the spirit of Christmas when it comes. I do not put up a Christmas tree but when i see pictures of Christmas or watch others celebrating it on the TV screen i feel that i am also celebrating it.However in 2003 on the night of Christmas, ie on 25th Dec night i had a very deep spiritual experience and it left a lasting effect on my life. I also dreamt once that Lord Jesus had taken me on his lap and was stroking me fondly.I feel that i have been blessed by Jesus even though i am not a Christian and anyway saints like Christ do not belong only to Christians but to the entire mankind.

I am sure your kids were having a fun time. The Christmas tree is up already since a few weeks ago with the help of my hubby and nephews. My nephews were super excited and became so out of control.
But I noticed that there was something wrong with the tree just now. It just looked out of place and when I asked my dad if the cats have been playing with the tree, he said, 'yes'. Owwh, so I thought they have stopped with their games playing catch on the tree.

I don't have a Christmas tree set up in my house because we don't have space anymore but i have a wreath and Santa in a basket as my center piece. That we be enough.

Nope. I'm a big lazy butt so I don't put up a tree. My parents go nuts at Christmas so we go there. Or maybe I will go to my niece's where the family is likely to gather.

We have our Christmas tree up. We put it up tonight, Sunday. We have one in the living room and a small one on a table in the kitchen in front of th window. My 4 year old grand daughter loves the Christmas tree and can't keep her hands off of them. She was fascinated with them.
