My children and I went to one of the local parks today. The City has already decorated the park and it looks really nice. I can't wait to take them back at night and let them see the decorations all lit up. I was just wondering if most City's decorate their parks with decorations at Christmas time. Does the city you live in decorate the city park at Christmas?

There are so many parks in St. Louis were I live. Most of them are not decorated though. There is one Tillis Park that does a Winter Wonderland display and they charge you per car load to drive through it. The brewery puts up lights all over their buildings and it looks pretty cool. I always take the kids past there at least once.

Yes, singlemommy. Our city does decorate the park before Christmas time. As a matter of fact, it should already be decorated by now. Or they may be in the process of getting it done. It is so beautiful once it is put up. My kids love to ride through it at night. I think that this is one of the most special times that our town can have. I live in Sumter, South Carolina. And, they decorate every year. I know that there are many lights to put up and to take down.. It is a lot of work and electricity, but it is so beautiful when it is all finished.
I hope that you and your son enjoy the lights this Christmas!

I live in a small town in the south and, yes, the town decorates our park for Christmas every year. We also have a festival there before Christmas with Santa arriving on a fire truck which is a nice event. The main road through town is also decorated. I haven't seen anything go up yet but it won't be long before everything is lit up.

Yup, every year there are a lot of decorations all over the city, not only in parks but also to some big houses, even our Electric company decorated their own Christmas lights, the malls have huge Christmas trees, and a lot lot more. I really enjoy this occasion.

Yes they do and it is beautiful. There is a path through the park where people will walk for exercise and they have it all beautifully lit and decorated. I love going there and walking the kids through. There is a covered bridge that I have taken a few pictures of my kids on during the holiday season.

Yes, in my country, parks are decorated with lanterns and christmas tree. Even street lamps in highways, mall facade and interiors, anywhere you go. There are also houses that are overly decorated with lights, santa clause of different kinds and all sorts of christmas decors. Most people here are very much excited for Christmas.

There are a number of parks in the city. They are not right on a bus stop, so i am not there often to see whether or not they are decorated, but the town dow decorate the town square for Christmas. There is a Christmas tree in the centre, and garlands and stuff wrapped around the poles, along with wreaths. It's really nice.

My city does the courthouse up like a Christmas tree. Many people like to hang out there and admire the lights.

our city core has a tree that the local radio station puts up to raise money for less fortunate people. its called the 'Christmas tree of hope'. plus in the next city over, they decorate the park which happens to be on the shores of lake ontario. Niagara Falls also has an awesome christmas display of lights too!

I know they used to here where I live, but its been a long time since I've been to that park during the Christmas season, now I'll have to go look. I know our Christmas parade is this week, and they have it at night, so its fun to go see that and to see all the floats lit up.

The city I live in has many parks. The major ones are decorated to some degree especially the entrances.

Yes, the city does decorate the park where I live. They decorate it by Thanksgiving. It is like we go from Halloween to Christmas. Here we seem to skip Thanksgiving and go on to Christmas.
